HBO has given fans a first look at Euphoria season 3 episode 3.
The third season of the show is now available on HBO Max in the US and Sky Atlantic and NOW in the UK. It picks up five years after the last season, showing fans what’s happened with their favorite characters. We learn that Rue (Zendaya) is now involved in drug trafficking, Jules (Hunter Schafer) is working as a ‘sugar baby,’ and Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) has become an OnlyFans content creator, alongside other changes in their lives.
A sneak peek of episode 3, coming out on Sunday, April 26th, suggests things are about to get even more dramatic as Cassie and Nate prepare for their wedding.
Maddy, Rue, and Jules are all at the event, but tension quickly rises when Cassie’s mother is overheard whispering a harsh comment about Maddy: “I can’t believe she had the nerve to show her face.”
Later in the preview, Nate is shown retching and Cassie looks to be in tears.

We see Jules spending time with Ellis, the man who financially supports her, and she declares she doesn’t believe she needs formal art school training to be a successful artist.
I was really intrigued by a scene featuring Rue. She’s talking to Alamo, the club owner who’s also involved in some shady dealings, and she’s hinting that she wants to change her life, to ‘go legit’ as she puts it. But Alamo brilliantly calls her out on that, asking if she honestly thinks what she’s currently doing is exactly above board. It’s a fantastic little exchange that shows how far Rue has fallen, and how little self-awareness she has. It really makes you think about her journey and where it’s all headed.

The third season of Euphoria started airing on April 12th, but it hasn’t been well-received. Both fans and critics have largely disliked the new season, with many pointing to its unbelievable storyline and how it portrays women.
Chloe Cherry, Dominic Fike, Nika King, and Colman Domingo will also be back for season 3, joining the previously announced cast.
The new season will feature several new faces, including Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth, Natasha Lyonne, Rosalía, Marshawn Lynch, Sam Trammell, and Asante Blackk.
As a huge fan, I’m so excited to share that Euphoria season 3 is dropping weekly on HBO Max, Sky Atlantic, and NOW. If you need to refresh your memory, or you’re just discovering the show, you can binge seasons 1 and 2 anytime on HBO Max and NOW too!
