Sony has released a new PlayStation 5 Pro commercial built around the idea that even the smallest details are important.
The video highlights several games, including Ghost of Yotei, God of War Ragnarok, Horizon Forbidden West, and the latest installment of EA Sports FC, numbered 26.
It hints at the benefits of the updated hardware, like incredibly clear graphics.
The PS5 Pro, like other Sony consoles, recently became more expensive. It now costs $899.99 or £789.99, which is a surprisingly high price.
People watching the YouTube video quickly noticed this, and one commenter even joked, “Every price increase makes a difference.”
The console has improved dramatically since the release of PSSR2, and we’re now seeing those benefits in many games.
Although the initial launch of this powerful system had some problems, Sony has fixed nearly all of them with an improved image upscaling technology. This improvement will also be useful for the next PlayStation console, the PS6.
It’s a significant amount to charge for what are mostly small visual upgrades, and it will be interesting to see how well it performs in the coming months.
GTA 6 feels like a key test for the PS5 Pro. Everyone will be looking to see how much of an improvement it offers in terms of graphics and performance, and I’m really curious to find out.
