Okay, so after the original Evil Dead trilogy, a reboot, and another sequel, we’ve now got a sixth installment on our hands! And let me tell you, the trailer for Evil Dead Rise? It’s genuinely impressive – a really strong first look that’s got me excited.
After her husband dies, a woman goes to her in-laws’ remote house for comfort. But when her in-laws start turning into monstrous creatures, she realizes a terrifying family reunion is underway. She soon discovers that the promises she made in life continue to bind her, even after death.
The film features Souheila Yacoub, Tandi Wright, Hunter Doohan, Luciane Buchanan, Errol Shand, Maude Davey, George Pullar, and Greta Van Den Brink. Fans are also hoping for a hidden appearance by Bruce Campbell, similar to his cameo in Evil Dead Rise. Sébastien Vaniček directed the movie, co-writing the script with his frequent collaborator, Florent Bernard – the same pair who created Infested, which impressed Sam Raimi. Following a trend set by previous installments, the film highlights a new director – much like Lee Cronin and Fede Alvarez, both of whom went on to helm larger-scale projects like The Mummy and Alien Romulus.
What we can expect from Evil Dead Burn trailer….
I just got a look at the trailer for Vanicek’s new Evil Dead film, and wow. The director himself said he wanted to create something truly intense – a movie that doesn’t just show you horror, but makes you feel it, leaving you emotionally and physically exhausted. And honestly, based on what I’ve seen, I think he’s absolutely nailed it. This looks like a seriously draining, but unforgettable, cinematic experience.
Evil Dead Burn opens in cinemas on 10th July 2026
