Exclusive event at Highclere Castle – the home of the real Downton Abbey

Seize the opportunity to tread in the Granthams’ footsteps! We at TopMob are thrilled to give you an exclusive invitation for a special day at Highclere Castle, the actual Downton Abbey residence. You’ll have the unique experience of being with Lady Carnarvon herself, editor Shem Law from RT, and our TV editor Caroline Frost.

Upon your arrival, you’ll first encounter the welcoming RT team. Afterward, have a conversation with the Countess of Carnarvon, who will share fascinating tales about her home’s history and unveil its hidden mysteries. Later on, Shem and Caroline will join the discussion, and there will be an opportunity for questions and answers.

After dividing, the group will embark on an escorted exploration of the Castle, which includes viewing the grand halls and scenic views showcased in the series, as well as spending leisurely time within the Egyptian Exhibit. Later, a casual meal awaits at the Coach House and Tea Rooms.

After that, let’s take a stroll around to check out the beautiful gardens and arboretum. Don’t forget to pick up your goodie bag when you leave.

10:30 AM – Arrival at Highclere Castle
11:00 AM – Welcome talk with Lady Carnarvon, Shem Law, and Caroline Frost
12:00 PM – Guided tour of the Castle and Egyptian Exhibit
1:30 PM – Relax over refreshments in the Coach House or Tea Rooms
2:30 PM – Explore the Castle grounds and gardens at your own pace
4:00 PM – Grounds close, and guests depart with a goody bag
