The second season of Fallout is now available on Prime Video, and it’s still one of the best adaptations of a video game into a live-action show that we’ve seen so far.
The new part of the story began this week with an episode now available on the streaming service. It follows the determined Lucy MacLean (Ella Purnell) as she travels to the famous, ruined city of New Vegas.
Everyone’s been wondering how the show will handle the different endings from the original game, and honestly, I’m intrigued. Showrunner Jonathan Nolan has hinted at a really clever fix – he says it will honor the choices players made in the game, and from what I hear, it’s going to be good. He’s calling it “delicious,” which is a bold promise, but I’m cautiously optimistic that they’ve pulled it off.
As a fan, I’m a little bummed to hear we’re going to be waiting almost two months to see everything unfold! It sounds like Prime Video is really stretching out the release of this new season, releasing episodes slowly over the next few months – even into next year, it seems!
