At last some Fast and Furious 11 news….
Released in 2023, Fast X was planned as the first half of a two-part finale to the hugely successful Fast & Furious franchise, which has earned over $7 billion worldwide since its start with The Fast and the Furious in 2001. While Fast X grossed $704 million despite a reported $300 million budget, it didn’t perform well enough, leading to a delay of the sequel, originally slated for 2025. Now, we have some updates on Fast & Furious 11 (officially Fast X Part 2).
That Fast and Furious 11 news is …..
I just heard some exciting news! Vin Diesel revealed that the next Fast & Furious movie will be called Fast Forever, and it’s hitting theaters on March 17th, 2028. Universal hasn’t given us any details yet about who’s directing, who’s starring, or what the story will be, but I’m already so hyped for Fast Forever!
Who we can expect to see….
The latest installment, Fast X, features returning favorites like Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Jordana Brewster, and Sung Kang. It also includes stars from recent films like Jason Statham, John Cena, Helen Mirren, and Charlize Theron, plus a fantastic new villain played by Jason Momoa. Despite a public disagreement with Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson even made a cameo appearance. Louis Leterrier directed the film.
What Vin Diesel has revealed…..
At last year’s Fuel Fest, Vin Diesel hinted that the next Fast & Furious movie will focus more on cars and street racing. It’s unclear if this means fewer over-the-top stunts, but they’ll likely want to end the series with a memorable spectacle. Following the death of Paul Walker, a tribute to him is also very probable.
