Japan has appeared in many video games lately, but Forza Horizon 6 may offer the most beautiful and realistic depiction of its diverse landscapes so far.
The Horizon Festival’s seasons are getting more than just different weather. A recent Steam announcement revealed that the environments along the race tracks will also change, offering beautiful new scenery. Keep an eye out for stunning pink cherry blossoms in the spring – they’re so captivating, you might forget you’re racing! The winding mountain roads will also feature realistic ‘unkai’ clouds, true to the quality you’d expect from a Forza game.
The announcement didn’t share details about all the new seasonal features, but images showed snowy mountains and fields of red flowers. While you won’t want to stop and look at the scenery during every race, it makes exploring Japan outside of racing really appealing. We’re also excited to see how Tokyo, which is a unique area in itself, will change with the seasons.
Everyone’s been waiting for this game, and it’s coming to PC and Xbox Series X|S in May. PlayStation 5 users will have to wait a bit longer – it’s expected to be released on PS5 later in the year.
