Flightyfelon Games has released Freeride, a “personality test RPG,” on the Nintendo eShop for $19.99.
Freeride first launched for PC via Steam on May 1, 2025.
Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:
About
Freeride is a unique RPG focused on your journey. You’ll ride a train to a mysterious Spirit World, meet interesting characters, use telekinesis, uncover secrets, enjoy some ice cream, and make your own choices along the way. As you help these troubled characters, you might discover something about yourself, too.
Embark on a magical journey to the Spirit World, filled with amazing sights and unusual people. Just remember, the fate of this world might depend on you!
Full Steam Ahead!
Now that you have telekinetic powers based on the laws of physics, you’re free to use them however you like! Throw fish, play basketball, solve puzzles, or even battle demons – it’s all up to you, and you’ll have to live with the results.
Make New Friends(?)
Meet a diverse group of Spirits, each facing their own unique challenges and driven by personal desires. By helping them mend fractured connections and resolve past issues, you might just find they return the favor.
Branching Storylines!
In Freeride, your choices determine how the story unfolds. If you’re looking for conflict, you’ll find it, and there’s no shortage of dramatic situations to get involved in.
…Oh, and did we mention it’s a Personality Test?
I’m really excited about how this game tracks everything I do – like, all my little choices and actions. It’s going to build what they’re calling a ‘Personality Outcome,’ which sounds super cool! And if I don’t love the result? I can just jump back in and play things differently. That’s the beauty of Freeride…
