French Montana is taking an unforgettable step forward in his relationship. 

Karim Kharbouch, more popularly known as “Unforgettable,” has announced his engagement to Sheikha Mahra Mohammed Rashed Al Maktoum, a princess from Dubai. This was confirmed by his representative to TMZ on August 27th.

During Paris Fashion Week in June, 40-year-old French individual proposed to Sheikha Mahra, aged 31, shortly after making his debut on the runway for the first time for the 3.Paradis Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 2026 show. The representative confirmed this news to a media outlet.

In October 2024, it was noticed that a couple had become associated with each other. The daughter of Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum posted photos showing her giving a tour around the United Arab Emirates city to the “Stay Schemin” MC. However, they didn’t confirm their romantic relationship until this past summer. This was evident when they were spotted together at various Paris Fashion Week events, walking hand in hand.

Previously, Sheikha Mahra was wedded to her husband, Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum. However, she declared their separation in July 2024 via a strong-worded post on Instagram.

Dear Husband, given that we share a 15-month-old daughter (whose name hasn’t been made public) with Sheikh Mana, I’d like to formally announce our separation. I invoke talaq three times, which in Islamic tradition signifies divorce.

She added, “Take care. Your ex-wife.”

The statement bears resemblance to the Islamic custom known as “triple talaq,” whereby a Muslim man can legally dissolve his marriage by uttering the term for divorce three times, as reported by the BBC.

Even though Sheikha Mahra wasn’t able to divorce her husband through this means (since only men are authorized to do so under Islamic law), she subtly suggested that her marriage had concluded the next month by sharing an Instagram selfie of herself and her daughter with the caption, “Just us two.

Regarding the French rapper, who has been connected in the past with Khloe Kardashian, Iggy Azalea, and Rubi Rose, there hasn’t been any public confirmation about his engagement. Nevertheless, he has shared some of his thoughts on dating someone going through a divorce in prior conversations.
