This season, which has 10 episodes, covers the Continued Northern Travels and Divine Revolte arcs from the original manga. The finale also begins the Golden Land Arc, widely considered the best story arc in the manga. As the series progresses, the stakes will continue to rise as Frieren and her friends travel towards Aureole, the resting place of souls. After the season ended, the anime’s official X account celebrated the results of the first character popularity poll with a new illustration of Genau, a key character in the Divine Revolte Arc.
