Ball x Pit, the popular game created by Kenny Sun and published by Devolver Digital, has sold over one million copies!
The developers recently announced a roadmap for the game extending into 2026, promising three free major updates.
The first, the Regal Update, will arrive in January 2026 and introduce new, high-society Hunters. This will be followed by the Shadow Update in April 2026, adding Hunters specializing in deception. Finally, the Naturalist Update is planned for July 2026, bringing Hunters forged from desperate circumstances to the game.
These updates will add new characters to play, as well as fresh content like Balls, Buildings, and Evolutions. The game has already reached a significant sales milestone, but that number doesn’t include players who joined through Xbox Game Pass. The game was available on Game Pass (Ultimate and PC tiers) when it launched last October.
Ball x Pit is deceptively relaxing and fun

I’ve really been enjoying Ball x Pit lately. It looks simple at first, but it quickly becomes a wonderfully chaotic experience as you unlock upgrades and improve your stats.
It’s perfect for short play sessions too – a good run through a level usually takes around 12-15 minutes. If you haven’t tried it, I definitely recommend it!
According to Windows Central’s Jez Corden, it’s also ideal for handheld gaming, making it a great game to play on devices like the ROG Ally X.
Ball x Pit is available on Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC (Steam and Xbox on PC), PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2.
