The lineup for Gary Lineker’s new ITV game show, The Box, is now complete with ten confirmed celebrity contestants.
The event boasts a diverse group of famous faces, with performers and speakers from fields like entertainment, sports, music, and politics.
Sara Davies, Graeme Souness, Ellie Taylor, John Bercow, Shakira Khan, JB Gill, Ranvir Singh, Jenny Ryan, Danny Aarons, and Joey Essex are the first celebrities confirmed to compete on the network’s new show.
Gary Lineker, who stepped down from Match of the Day and the BBC after over 20 years earlier this year, will host a new show called The Box. It’s been described as a combination of the reality shows I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! and SAS: Who Dares Wins.
In this show, celebrities will be placed inside yellow boxes and taken to a secret location. There, they’ll compete in a variety of challenges – testing their physical strength, intelligence, problem-solving skills, and sense of humor. At the end of each episode, the two celebrities who perform the worst will face off in a competition called The Duel, and the loser will be eliminated.

According to Lineker, who recently won an award at the NTAs, the best teams combine different skills and talents – and this group is no exception. He’s looking forward to watching the competition from the sidelines and seeing how it all plays out.
Katie Rawcliffe, who commissions entertainment, reality, and daytime shows for ITV, said they’re excited to have such a great group of celebrities on “The Box.” She believes each celebrity will offer a different viewpoint and way of tackling the show’s challenges, and watching them do so will be really fun for viewers.
I was really excited to hear about ‘The Box’ – it actually premiered in Norway back in January! It’s being made by Twofour, which is one of the companies under the ITV Studios umbrella, so I’m expecting good things.
As a huge fan of competition shows, I’m really intrigued by “The Box.” Dan Adamson from Twofour mentioned they’re excited to see how the cast handles the show’s unique premise. Apparently, each contestant brings something different to the table – a mix of skills and smarts – but ultimately, it’s about who can think outside the box (literally!) and conquer the challenges to win.
