In addition to lowering the cost of The Outer Worlds 2 to $69.99, Obsidian Entertainment has also released a new trailer for Grounded 2 prior to its early access debut next week. The organization responsible for the size-altering experiments in the first game, Omniment, returns with multiple identical setups spread across different parks this time around.
In this game, you take charge of one of the returning teenagers, navigating their escape from captivity and encounters with massive spiders, all while venturing into the expanded Brookhollow Park for exploration. At present, only the initial zone is accessible through early access, yet it’s nearly double the size of the entire map in the original game.
Additionally, you’ll find exciting additions such as the Omni-Tool, a single tool for gathering all resources, encounters with aggressive insects, enhanced combat abilities including evasion moves, and transportation options like the Red Ant Buggy that doubles as a resource carrier. However, who is the enigmatic figure at the finale? Could it be the elusive fifth adolescent?
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that starting July 29th, I’ll be diving into the world of Grounded 2 on my Xbox Series X/S or PC! It’s available through Game Preview and Steam Early Access for just $29.99. Can’t wait to explore this exciting new chapter! Keep an eye out for a post-launch content roadmap, which will be unveiled shortly after the release. And if you’re curious about how it stacks up against the original, don’t miss our in-depth comparison feature!
