Obsidian Entertainment has released the first big update for Grounded 2, introducing a terrifying new enemy: AXL. The ‘Hairy and Scary‘ update features the largest spider ever created for the game. You can see AXL in action in the trailer below.
Naturally, this update brings two new armor sets, a bow, and a spear. You’ll also find spider-themed decorations and bigger chests. BUILD.M is included to make building faster, along with two new Trinkets, a new Mutation, and special Halloween content that’s only available for a limited time.
On top of everything else, the Hotpouch is now always visible on your inventory screen and can be used with your buggy. The Orb Weaver has also been upgraded with better navigation and is now immune to fall damage. PC players have even more control, as they can now customize graphical settings, including enabling or disabling Lumen Global Illumination Quality.
