Sony has announced details for its next big video game presentation, called State of Play. PlayStation fans are excited for this showcase, and we’ve got all the information on when it’s happening in June 2024, including the date, time, and what you can expect to see.
When Is PlayStation’s State of Play Livestream?
The next State of Play livestream is scheduled for Tuesday, June 2nd, 2026. Here are the times it will air around the world:
- North America: 2pm PDT / 3pm MDT / 4pm CDT / 5pm EDT
- UK/Ire: 10pm BST
- Europe: 11pm CEST / 12am (Wed) EEST
- Asia/Oceania: 6am (Wed) JST / 5am (Wed) AWST / 7am (Wed) AEST

How Long Will PlayStation’s State of Play Livestream Be?
Sony revealed that its upcoming State of Play presentation will be over an hour long, with the show expected to run around 70 minutes. They hinted it might even go longer!
What Games Will Be Part of PlayStation’s State of Play Livestream?
Sony has announced that Marvel’s Wolverine will be a major highlight of their next State of Play presentation. According to a PlayStation Blog post, Insomniac Games will showcase the game’s intense combat and reveal new information about Logan’s upcoming third-person action-adventure.
So far, Marvel’s Wolverine is the only PS5 game confirmed for the show.
We can also expect announcements from other PlayStation studios, and there’s a lot of speculation about a new God of War game focused on Faye. Teams like Media Molecule, Firesprite Games, and Bend Studio could also share what they’ve been working on.
We can also expect to see developers from other companies at the event. Many believe this is where we’ll finally learn the release date for Onimusha: Way of the Sword, and other publishers plan to share news and release dates for their own games. Overall, it’s shaping up to be a major PlayStation showcase with a lot of exciting potential.
