This highly anticipated sequel to the cherished god-like rogue-like game, “Hades”, was praised for its well-polished Early Access experience. However, many fans chose to wait rather than spoil the story, making them eager for the 1.0 launch. Now, we have confirmation about when “Hades 2” will officially leave Early Access and be available for all players.
On September 12th during the Nintendo Direct event, we were finally informed that the much-awaited sequel, Hades 2, will debut on September 25th exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2. Initially, Supergiant Games will only be available as a timed exclusive on the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. However, it’s likely that other consoles will follow suit in the coming months. At last, the complete sequel is almost upon us!

The much-awaited debut of Hades 2 is set to reveal the entire narrative, accompanied by numerous enhancements and alterations that Supergiant Games have been working on during Early Access. Initially, it’ll be exclusive to the Nintendo Switch family of consoles, as well as PC via Steam and Epic Games. While other platforms might be added down the line, no definitive announcements have been made yet.
In its Early Access phase, Hades 2 is currently retailing for $29.99. Those who already possess the Early Access version can expect a free upgrade to v1.0 when it officially launches on September 25th.
