Haley Beck Case: Police “Looking Into” Relationship With 2nd Student

Haley Beck’s embroilment in scandal continues.

As a long-time follower of the Beck family, I was shocked to learn about Haley Beck, Noah’s sister, potentially losing her teaching job at Centennial High School. It started with reports of a relationship with a student, and now, according to People magazine, the Peoria Police Department is investigating a new claim – that she may have had an inappropriate relationship with another student. It’s a really difficult situation, and I’m hoping for clarity and fairness for everyone involved.

On May 5th, the department told People magazine they had finished interviewing the person who made the initial report and are still investigating all possible leads. They emphasized that they treat all potential crimes seriously and are working to understand what happened.

Peoria police stated in a May 6th announcement to TopMob News that the investigation is still active and they are working to collect all available information.

According to News12, as of April 10th, Haley had not been formally charged with any crimes.

TopMob News has contacted Haley’s lawyers for a statement, but they haven’t responded yet.

A lawyer for Haley previously denied she committed any crimes.

Attorney Matthew Long stated on April 8th that Ms. Beck respects the legal process and anticipates the investigation will demonstrate she did nothing wrong. He emphasized that, like anyone under investigation, Ms. Beck deserves to be treated fairly and that a thorough review will prove her innocence.

In April, the Peoria, Arizona school district recommended firing Haley after conducting an internal investigation. News reports have since confirmed that Haley has been terminated from her teaching position.

An investigation by the Peoria Unified School District revealed that Haley is accused of starting an inappropriate relationship with a student before his 18th birthday. The investigation found evidence of a “quid pro quo” arrangement between them, which caused concern, according to documents obtained by TopMob News on April 8.

According to a statement, Haley and the student exchanged over 4,000 text messages during the summer of 2025. These messages included discussions about sexual acts, including oral sex and planned sexual encounters, as well as alcohol and drug use. The messages also reportedly detail the student filming Haley performing a sexual act on him and sharing the video with others.

She also allegedly sent him a total of $630 on Apple Pay.

The school found that because inappropriate interactions with students had already happened, any further sexual contact after the student reached the age of consent was unwanted. The decision also stated that the teacher’s behavior was serious, repeated, and clearly unacceptable, citing sexually suggestive conversations and admissions of sexual activity between teachers and students as evidence.

After the investigation concluded, the superintendent suggested Haley be fired. The school board quickly agreed and officially filed charges leading to her dismissal on March 26th.

Following a review of the investigation, the school district stated on April 8th that the decision-maker determined Ms. Beck had improperly developed a relationship with a student, ultimately leading to a sexual relationship. Based on these findings, they recommended she be fired.

As a dedicated member of this community, I was really pleased to see the district emphasize open communication. They’re actively encouraging students, families, and staff to share any concerns they have, promising a swift response. What’s most important to me is their commitment to being open and honest, taking responsibility, and making sure every single student feels safe and supported – and they’ve clearly stated that’s their priority.
