As a passionate gamer, I can confidently say that Void Interactive’s adrenaline-pumping first-person shooter, Ready or Not, has been unstoppable on consoles since its release on July 15th, 2025. The exciting news is that the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions have collectively surpassed a staggering two million units sold! This game just keeps getting better with time.
In a post on LinkedIn, team CEO Julio Rodriguez expressed gratitude towards console players for their enthusiastic participation and dedication to bringing order out of chaos while playing. He also acknowledged his studio employees for crafting what he believes is the defining tactical first-person shooter game of this time period, and thanked friends and partners for aiding in the release of RON on consoles. Rodriguez hinted at upcoming updates and additional content to be announced.
We’ve had our second weekly update on the sales of Ready or Not in just a week, and it appears that the one-million mark has been reached, six days following the launch of the PS5, Xbox Series X|S. Currently, the console version has accumulated two million purchases, pushing the total sales (including the original PC release) over 11 million units.

Last week, I shared my thoughts on Ready or Not PS5, a game that’s been keeping me hooked lately. I gave it an 8/10 and highlighted its tactical gameplay and diverse mission design as standout features. In essence, I can’t help but feel that this is one of the most engrossing cooperative gaming experiences you can find on PlayStation 5 at the moment.
