The initial collection of photos has been unveiled for the eagerly awaited Prime Video thriller named Lazarus, penned by Harlan Coben, a renowned author known for his works such as “Fool Me Once” and “Missing You.
Here are the characters we’re introduced to in the images: Bill Nighy portrays Dr Jonathan Lazarus, Sam Claflin is Joel Lazarus, David Fynn takes on Seth McGovern, and Alexandra Roach joins us as Jenna Lazarus.

In the series, other notable performers are expected to make appearances. Among them are Karla Crome, known for “Toxic Town,” portraying Bella Catton, Kate Ashfield from “Shaun of the Dead” as Detective Alison Brown, and Roisin Gallagher, best recognized for “The Lovers.

Unlike his past television adaptations of his own books in both Britain and the U.S., Lazarus is not derived from any of Harlan Coben’s novels, but rather it originates from a jointly penned script by Harlan Coben and Danny Brocklehurst.

In addition to revealing the pictures, Amazon Prime Video has officially announced that the series will debut on their platform. The entire series consisting of six episodes is scheduled to be available for streaming starting on October 22nd, 2025 (Wednesday).
The official summary of Lazarus indicates that the story revolves around Joel Lazarus (portrayed by Claflin), who goes back home following the apparent suicide of his father, Dr. Jonathan Lazarus (Nighy). However, he subsequently encounters strange and unexplainable events.

He soon finds himself enmeshed in a string of unsolved homicides, all while attempting to unravel the puzzles surrounding his father’s demise and his sister’s murder from a quarter-century past.
Apart from Lazarus, fans of author Harlan Coben have something else to anticipate: a screen adaptation of his novel “Run Away.” This production will be available on Netflix and boasts an impressive cast including James Nesbitt, Ellie de Lange, Ruth Jones, Minnie Driver, Alfred Enoch, Lucian Msamati, Jon Pointing, and others.

The narrative unfolds around a man whose life unravels when his daughter, struggling with problems, vanishes. Later, he resurfaces, battling a drug addiction and entangled within a perilous criminal underworld.
