Henry Cavill is well-known for his work with Netflix. While he’s finished his role as the main character in the popular fantasy show The Witcher, he continues to star as the iconic detective Sherlock Holmes in another series.
Millie Bobby Brown, known for her role in Stranger Things, stars as Enola Holmes in this popular Netflix series. A short teaser trailer for Enola Holmes 3 has just been released, following the announcement of its July 1st release date.
What Happens in Enola Holmes 3?
I watched Brown and Louis Partridge have some fun revealing the trailer release date! They basically worked together to solve a crossword puzzle filled with clues about the series, and it cleverly led to the announcement that the trailer would drop on May 27th. It was a cute and engaging way to build hype.
The latest story follows Enola as she takes on a new mystery, this time in Malta. The reason for her trip remains a secret for now, but once she arrives, she quickly finds herself in a dangerous situation. While investigating the case, Enola also navigates the developing romance with Tewkesbury (Louis Partridge), and a thrilling adventure begins.
Philip Barantini, who previously worked with Jack Thorne on their popular show Adolescence, is directing a new film written by Thorne. This film is based on Nancy Springer’s The Enola Holmes Mysteries book series, the same source material as the hit Netflix mystery films.
I’m so excited for Enola Holmes 3! It’s bringing back all the actors I loved from the first two movies – Henry Cavill as Sherlock, Millie Bobby Brown as Enola, and Louis Partridge as Tewkesbury. Plus, Himesh Patel is returning as Dr. Watson, and Helena Bonham Carter is back as Eudoria Holmes! They’ve even got Sharon Duncan-Brewster as Moriarty, which I think is a fantastic addition. I can’t wait to see them all together again!
Enola Holmes 3 Went Viral for Its Poster
Netflix is building excitement for the latest murder mystery in a popular series that began in 2020 and quickly became a hit. They’ve been sharing sneak peeks, including initial photos, the date the trailer will be released, and the official poster.
The poster for the new movie appears to have some errors, and many believe these issues were caused, at least in part, by the use of generative AI. People online noticed several strange details, including floating palm trees on one side of the image. Other problems include a horse pulling the carriage without any visible harness, wheels that are strangely positioned, and white ribbons that don’t seem to be connected to the wreaths they’re hanging from.
Enola Holmes 3 premieres on July 1.
