I hadn’t heard of this game until I saw the recent patch notes, which PCGamesN highlighted. They immediately made me wonder if AI had been used to write them, but thankfully, that wasn’t the case. The notes were well-written, accurate, and didn’t contain any errors or odd wording.
The medieval life simulator and survival RPG, Medieval Dynasty, just got a major update with a lot of new details. In the game, you start as a simple villager and work to establish a lasting family line over several generations, and you can play alone or with friends.
This game includes all the standard survival elements – crafting, building, hunting, and gathering resources – but a recent update has added romantic interactions as well. Here’s a look at the full patch notes, revealing that this game is more expansive than I initially thought.
The visible pregnancy update

Medieval Dynasty’s newest update introduces a detailed pregnancy system. Villagers who become pregnant will have unique appearances and behaviors, including new animations and dialogue. From the second trimester onward, they’ll stop working, which will impact your village’s overall productivity.
As an analyst, I’ve observed that when villagers have partners who are pregnant or are caring for infants, their productivity receives a helpful increase. This mechanic really encourages you to view families as a collaborative team, working together rather than as individuals simply coexisting in the village.

This update adds more natural conversations and interactions with villagers who are pregnant, making the settlement feel more lively and responsive. We’ve also included a new quest, adjusted gameplay, fixed bugs, and made several improvements to enhance your overall experience.
I’m excited to announce that my latest update, ‘Labor of Love,’ and the ‘Exquisite’ downloadable content are now available on all consoles and PC! To celebrate, the main game is currently 50% off, and the new DLC also has a launch discount. These deals will be running until Friday, December 19, 2025, on Steam and all relevant console stores. And for those on Xbox, remember the game is also included with Xbox Game Pass.
Would you play Medieval Dynasty? Let me know in the comments.
