Since our usual Arknights expert is unavailable, please bear with us as we learn about the new ‘Endfield’ update based on the official press release.
The long-awaited RPG is finally here on PS5! It’s free to play, and while you can spend money to get characters and upgrades, that’s entirely optional. It already had a huge number of players sign up beforehand, so excitement was high!
Arknights stands out with its team-focused battles. You can trigger powerful combo attacks by calling on your teammates’ special abilities. From what we’ve played, the combat feels smooth and the animations are really well done.
You’ll spend a lot of time exploring a vast open world, looking for missions and valuable items.
These gathered resources power another key feature of the game: building and managing your own factories. This system is designed to be engaging – watching things run and improve on their own is incredibly satisfying, and keeps players coming back for more.
Interested in trying out Arknights? If you’re into gacha games, great! But please don’t share your in-game results (pulls) in the comments.
