Hitman Classic Trilogy Remastered Announced, Includes All 3 Original Games With Improved Graphics

On top of the new content and sales for 007 First Light, IO Interactive and Saber Interactive are bringing back some classic adventures with the Hitman Classic Trilogy Remastered. Coming in 2027 to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, this release will feature updated versions of the first three Hitman games: Codename 47, Silent Assassin, and Contracts.

The remastered trilogy keeps the same visual style as the original games but features updated character models, sharper textures, and much more detailed environments. For example, buildings along the waterfront, which previously looked fuzzy, are now fully realized. The water itself also appears significantly improved.

Players who enjoy the game’s original look can easily switch back to it at any time. And, like most modern games, it includes a Photo Mode. This lets you explore the beautiful environments beyond the main missions and capture stunning images.

This is the traditional Hitman gameplay you know and love: use disguises, move stealthily, and find creative ways to eliminate your targets. It’s not as over-the-top as License to Kill, but you can still use guns if you’re discovered. We’ll have more updates soon, and you can read our full review of Hitman 3, the final game in the rebooted trilogy developed by IO Interactive before they released World of Assassination.
