Disney has confirmed that a third Hocus Pocus movie is being made. This announcement follows the success of Hocus Pocus 2, which came out on Disney+ four years ago, and the original film’s release 33 years prior.
Disney has announced that a third Hocus Pocus movie is in the works! Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy are all set to return as the Sanderson sisters. Unlike the second film, which was released on Disney+, Hocus Pocus 3 is planned for release in theaters.
We don’t yet know what Hocus Pocus 3 will be about. It’s also unknown if any of the original actors besides Bette Midler, Sarah Parker Lattimore, and Kathy Najimy will return. While Doug Jones reprised his role as Billy Butcherson in the second movie, some familiar faces like Omri Katz, Thora Birch, and Vinessa Shaw didn’t appear. A third film could bring those characters back to join the Sanderson sisters, but it’s still uncertain if they will.
