Honkai: Star Rail is getting a large update (version 4.2) on April 22nd, and players will receive over 30 free pulls to start! You can earn even more pulls by participating in the game’s regular events.

We’re really looking forward to the new character, Silver Wolf LV.999, in this update. We think she’ll work great alongside our existing character, Sparxie.
This new 5-Star Imaginary character is shaping up to be a blast to play! She excels at supporting her team by making them immune to enemy control effects. Plus, she can create special loot boxes that give allies helpful boosts.
Similar to Sparxie, this character’s animations are really enjoyable, reminiscent of classic video game bonus levels. She’ll be featured in the first part of the update, along with returning events for The Dahlia, Castorice, and Firefly.
The second new character is Evanescia, a powerful Physical-type character who follows the Path of Elation. She deals damage over time and builds up energy with her special ability, ‘Certified Banger,’ and can also boost her allies using her Elation Skill.
This update includes the Trailblazer’s Elation path, giving players a new combat kit for their character.
This character uses a glowstick and can help create powerful combinations, making them a great teammate for Evanescia if you’re trying to unlock her.
The Trailblazer character will be available to everyone without cost. Later in the update, Evanescia will be featured with new characters Tribbie, Sunday, and Feixiao.
As anticipated, version 4.2 will expand the Phantasmoon Games storyline with a new area called Seafeld City, located on the world of Planarcadia.
Besides the free rewards, we’re planning several events during this period. These include a major new expansion for the endgame Currency Wars mode, and a special combat event where you can try livestreaming your gameplay.
Plus, the card game Cosmicon Collective is adding a cooperative mode. You’ll also be able to invite friends aboard the Astral Express and personalize your virtual bedroom with new decorating options.
This update includes a ton of new content, and your daily reward progress will reset when it launches. This means you’ll have plenty of opportunities to earn rewards if you’re aiming to fully upgrade Silver Wolf, Evanescia, or any of the returning characters.
