Nippon Ichi Software recently revealed a new trailer for their upcoming rural life simulation game, Hono Gurashi no Niwa. The trailer highlights a “Safe Living Mode” designed for players who prefer a relaxing, scare-free experience focused purely on enjoying the everyday aspects of the game.
The game’s main character starts a new life in Kagatsu Village, a remote mountain settlement. The village operates under a set of old, strict rules, and disobeying them can have serious consequences. However, players who choose “Safe Living Mode” at the beginning can experience a peaceful and carefree life in the village without worrying about breaking those rules.
The game Hono Gurashi no Niwa will be released in Japan on July 30, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam).
