Secret Mode, the publisher, and Fuse Games, the developer, have just released a new trailer and some screenshots for their upcoming game, Star Wars: Galactic Racer.
Here is an overview of the game, via Fuse Games:
Sony’s State of Play revealed a new trailer showcasing fast-paced races on both new and classic planets in the Star Wars universe. The trailer also offered a first glimpse at characters you’ll meet and confirmed the return of podracing, the famous sport from Star Wars.
In Star Wars: Galactic Racer, players are introduced to the Galactic League, a rough-and-tumble racing circuit operating outside the law in the Outer Rim. The league is currently ruled by the ruthless and influential Kestar Bool. When Bool threatens to take over the league completely, its founder, Darius Pax, seeks help from Shade, a skilled pilot who has a personal vendetta against the Bool family. Pax hopes Shade can defeat Kestar and restore control of the league.

Take on the role of Shade in a thrilling story where your choices matter. Earn parts and upgrades to improve your vehicle and dominate the competition. Experiment with different types of speeders – from land vehicles to sleek podracers – and team up with the mechanic Hibi to create a custom racer that fits how you play. Race to victory by forming alliances, outsmarting your opponents, and mastering new tactics to become the champion of the Galactic League.
Get ready for a thrilling Star Wars racing experience with a variety of ways to play! Compete online with up to 12 players in intense races and different game modes – only the quickest pilots will win. Jump into Arcade mode for quick challenges like time trials and leaderboard domination. Or test your skills in Scenarios mode, where you’ll face unique conditions, from practice laps to incredibly difficult races. Stay tuned for more details on each mode as Star Wars: Galactic Racer gets closer to launch.
I’m so excited! It looks like Star Wars: Galactic Racer is finally coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC – you’ll be able to get it on Steam and the Epic Games Store in 2026. I can’t wait!
