Wondering how long it takes to complete LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight?
This LEGO game is likely Traveller Tales’ largest to date, primarily because of the expansive size of Gotham City.
So, how long does it take to complete the full LOTDK story? Here’s what you need to know.
How long is LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight? Time to beat explained
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will take the average player roughly 15 hours to complete.
Our review estimates playtime by finishing the main story and also spending time exploring Gotham City’s many side missions and activities.
If you really focus on just the main story, you can likely beat the game in around 12 hours.
If you’re thinking about 100% completion, however, things are vastly different.

As a huge LEGO Batman fan, if you really want to 100% complete LEGO Batman: The LEGO Movie Game, you’re in for a challenge! It means finishing everything – all the extra missions and levels, plus finding every single collectible, suit, vehicle, skill, and gadget upgrade. And that’s not all – you’ve also got to unlock all the Batcave trophies and WayneTech caches. There’s a lot to collect, honestly!
If you’re familiar with the challenging Riddler puzzles in the Batman: Arkham games, you’ll likely recognize the commitment needed in LOTDK. Completing everything in the game will probably take over 50 hours, and most of that time will be spent thoroughly exploring Gotham to finish all the challenges.
Fortunately, you’ll earn most of the game’s achievements just by playing the story. A few are quick and easy, like changing your Batcomputer’s screensaver – it only takes about 30 seconds, unlike the much longer time it takes to unlock everything else!
