How Maluma Told Daughter Paris She Is Becoming a Big Sister

Maluma’s daughter Paris is ready for a bebé brother.

The singer of “Oe Bebé” shared how he and his partner, Susana Gómez, told their two-year-old daughter she’s getting a sibling, and described the little girl’s sweet reaction.

Maluma shared with TopMob News at the 2026 American Music Awards on May 25th that he was very open with his daughter about her mother’s pregnancy. She noticed her mom was pregnant and asked what was happening, so he explained, ‘My love, this is your brother who is coming!’

The singer also shared her excitement, saying she’s eagerly anticipating holding her brother for the first time.

Paris isn’t the only family member thrilled for the new addition. 

The couple is thrilled to be expecting a baby boy, following the birth of their daughter, Paris. This second child was a wonderful surprise, and their parents are overjoyed with the news.

Meanwhile, the “Corazón” singer is already looking ahead at life with a mini-me. 

He added that he’d always hoped for a son, explaining his love for soccer and biking. He’s really looking forward to enjoying this new chapter of his life.

Maluma, who’s previously discussed his mental health, manages his busy life by focusing on simple self-care: breathing exercises, meditation, and staying active.

He explained that he believes in receiving positive outcomes by doing good deeds, and that’s how he chooses to live his life – focusing on the journey itself.

“I’m feeling really good,” he said. “I haven’t felt this good in a while, so it feels like progress and motivation to keep moving forward.”

Singer Maluma, whose full name is Juan Luis Londoño Arias, shared on social media on May 10th that he and his partner, Susana, are expecting their second child.

Maluma and Paris shared a black-and-white Instagram photo of them kissing Susana’s baby bump, and Maluma captioned it with a single blue heart.

And as he noted one day after his first child was born, fatherhood was always his dream.

Maluma announced the birth of his daughter, Paris Londoño Gomez, on March 9th at 8:23 A.M. in an Instagram post. He shared photos of himself and his partner with their newborn in the hospital and expressed gratitude for the well wishes. He also thanked his partner, Susana, for making his dream of becoming a father come true.

He added, “I love them.”
