How Millie Bobby Brown Learned Stranger Things’ Ending Before Costars

Millie Bobby Brown doesn’t just play a detective onscreen.

Millie Bobby Brown, known for her role in Enola Holmes, used her detective abilities to find out how Stranger Things ends before anyone else in the cast. She discovered the details of the show’s final season before it was revealed to her co-stars.

You know, it’s funny looking back. I was honestly a little unsure of how I’d feel going into it. We were all on edge the night before the final table read – nobody had a clue what was going to happen. But, surprisingly, I actually did know what was coming, which was a bit of a wild feeling!

Millie, who shared in August that she and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, adopted a baby girl, jokingly said she “blackmails the directors” to get information. She then explained how she was able to find out this secret detail.

She admitted to secretly going into the writers’ room where she saw a large whiteboard covered with different possible endings to the show. She said she was overwhelmed by everything there was to take in.

However, when the 21-year-old finally read the script for the last episode, they said it was a surprisingly emotional experience.

She remembered they hadn’t sat at a table, but instead on couches, where they cried for about two hours straight.

After working together for almost ten years, Millie and her fellow cast members—Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Noah Schnapp, and Caleb McLaughlin—have grown a lot, both as actors and as people.

Caleb shared with TopMob News in May that he spent his formative years working on the show and had the opportunity to travel the world with his colleagues, for which he is very thankful.

And the 24-year-old intends to carry what he’s learned on set into his future career endeavors.

He explained that he’s evolved and been shaped by his experiences. He feels Stranger Things has really raised his standards and impacted his creative approach to many things.

The second part of Stranger Things season five will be available on Netflix on Christmas Day, with the final episode airing on New Year’s Eve. Before then, take a look at how much the show’s young cast members have grown up!
