Elsie Hewitt is hungry to learn how to nourish her baby.

The 30-year-old mother, who shares 4-month-old Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson with Pete Davidson, said she struggled at first to learn how to bottlefeed her daughter, as she is exclusively using bottles.

A mom friend advised a mother who was having trouble getting her baby, Scottie, to take a bottle to switch to a larger nipple – from size one to size two.

In the introduction to Tommee Tippee’s new feeding guide, Elsie described a successful feeding experience: ‘I put on a size 2 nipple, and to my relief, she latched on immediately and fed without any trouble.’ She was happy to hear only her baby’s breathing and little sounds of excitement as she ate, careful not to disrupt her peaceful feeding.

She breathed a sigh of relief, finding peace in the silence. She cherished the scent of her child and finally allowed herself to cry. It was a breakthrough moment – she had figured it out!

The actress, known for her role on Dave, is dedicated to helping people find feeding resources. She recently shared on Instagram on May 6th that she was thrilled to have written the introduction to the Tommee Tippee Feeding Made Simple Guide.

She wished the guide had been available four months earlier, when she was struggling to understand everything on her own. Having all the information gathered in one place would have been incredibly helpful at that time, she explained, noting it was created with the expertise of a family doctor and lactation consultant.

The model has openly discussed her choice to use formula instead of breastfeeding her daughter. In an essay for Elle published on February 25th, she explained the feelings of guilt many mothers experience when they don’t breastfeed, noting that how a baby is fed often comes with unexpected judgment and moral implications.

The reality star explained her decision to bottlefeed, saying she felt the challenges of breastfeeding – like the time commitment, feeling isolated, and being exhausted – weren’t worth the benefits.

Every baby, pregnancy, and mother is unique, with different needs and circumstances. For me, formula feeding was the best option.

She explained that this pain had caused her to miss out on work opportunities, and that being on set sometimes felt risky because of the possibility of needing emergency medical attention. She’s currently looking for solutions to manage the situation.

While relaxing in a boat on the lake, the actor from Bupkis spontaneously kissed Elsie on the cheek.

While Elsie was getting her makeup done for a Pat McGrath Labs red carpet event in May 2025, Pete showed his support by stopping to give her a loving kiss despite the busy atmosphere.

I was so thrilled to see the first picture of them as a family! She posted it on December 18th, and it was just the sweetest – little Elsie was leaning in to give Scottie a kiss right on the forehead. It really melted my heart!

“This is my best work so far,” the 29-year-old shared. “I’m incredibly happy and grateful, and I still can’t believe it.”
