EA Sports FC 26 is out now, and just like last year, scoring with low driven shots is still very effective.
There are tons of ways to get goals in this game, but I gotta say, there’s something *really* satisfying about pulling off those ‘low drivens’ – that’s what we fans call them, anyway. They take some practice to get right, which makes it even better when you finally nail it!
Here’s how to execute these moves. However, be aware that EA has announced upcoming changes that may affect how effective they are!
How to score low driven shots in FC 26
First, think about where you are on the field when you’re shooting. While you can take a Power Shot from almost anywhere, a low, driven shot is most effective when you’re close to the goal – especially inside the six-yard box, where it can be very difficult to defend against.
If you’re in the perfect position, you’ll want to do the following:
- Power up a shot with the relevant button (B on Xbox, Circle on PS5)
- Immediately after the shot is powered up, press the button again
Okay, so this shot is gonna take some getting used to, definitely need to practice it a lot. Also, just a heads-up, EA already tweaked it before the game even came out, and honestly, it might change again in the next few days, so be prepared for that!
The charts in this post suggest the latest version of low drivens might not be quite as dependable as the previous one.
Low shots sacrifice some power compared to stronger shots, but they can surprise goalkeepers and frequently sneak into the lower part of the goal.
A player’s skill level significantly impacts their shot success, especially if they specialize in low driven shots. Players with this skill will generally have a much higher chance of making the shot.
