Blood Leaves are used to make Healing Potions in the game Hytale, so it’s a good idea to collect a lot of them.
Fortunately, these aren’t hard to find at all – you can actually come across them quite early in the game! Just keep in mind they only appear in a few specific places, so knowing where to search is key.
In this quick guide, I’ll tell you how to easily get Blood Leaves and where.
Where to Find Blood Leaves in Hytale

Blood Leaves are usually found in the swamp areas of the Emerald Grove region. The map in the screenshot shows exactly where to look.
You can easily find it on the map because it’s a noticeably darker, muted green. It’s much less vibrant than the rest of the Emerald Grove!

Blood Leaves can be found scattered on the ground in this area. While they aren’t super rare, you might have to search around a little to find them.

You can also find Blood Leaves in the Whisperfrost Frontiers, a snowy area you’ll unlock later in the game.

Specifically, search for shale formations in the Everfrost area. You’ll often find Blood Leaves growing directly on these shale formations – they tend to cluster together!

You can also find Blood Leaves more easily at night. They actually glow with a spooky, but useful, red light, making them very easy to spot.
Okay, so finding Blood Leaves in Hytale is pretty straightforward. Basically, you want to head to the swamps in the Emerald Grove, or check out the rocky areas – the shale outcrops – in the Whisperfrost Frontiers. That’s where I’ve had the most luck finding them!
Blood Leaves are used to make Healing Potions, but you’ll need other ingredients too. If you’re planning to brew potions, we can help! You can find information on how to get Bloodcap Mushrooms – another key ingredient – in our guide.
