Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 introduces a unique post-campaign experience called Avalon. This mode features its own separate progression system, challenges, and a climactic boss battle.
Reaching the final boss is tough. It’s hidden in the difficult Tier IV area of Avalon, and you’ll need to put in a lot of effort to level up and prepare before you can beat it.
Here is what you need to do and how you can take on Dr Falkner.
How to Reach CoD BO7 Endgame’s final boss
- Choose an Operator and complete objectives and secure Comms Towers to level up your combat rating.
- Level up your combat rating to at least Level 45 (ideally Level 50-60)
- Travel to the Toxin Source Island in Zone IV
- Shoot all the Red Flower Spores on the walls and environment on the island until the boss spawns (you need to shoot quite a lot)
- Defeat Dr. Falkner
The fight with Dr. Falkner isn’t particularly unique – it mostly involves dealing a lot of damage to finally bring him down. However, it’s a tough and lengthy battle, so playing with friends in co-op is a good idea if you want some help.
If you successfully defeat the boss, you’ll get the blueprint for the Exotic Ghostmind sniper rifle and a special skin for the operator you used in the fight. Confirming the kill of Dr. Falkner will also allow you to exfil from Avalon and trigger a unique cutscene that continues the game’s story.
