A glimpse of Glen Powell in the ‘How to make a killing’ trailer…..
Glen Powell has been steadily gaining recognition as an actor, and his recent lead role in ‘The Running Man’ has people excited about his next project. The trailer for ‘How to Make a Killing’ has just been released, giving fans a first look.
What’s the, ‘How to make a killing’ trailer about?
Becket Redfellow, a hardworking man played by Glen Powell, was rejected by his incredibly rich family when he was born. Now, he’s determined to get what he believes is rightfully his, even if it means overcoming anyone who tries to stop him.
Is it a remake?
The film shares a similar feel to the classic ‘Kind Hearts and Coronets,’ though the actor doesn’t play multiple family members as in that movie. It’s inspired by the 1949 Ealing comedy of the same name, which itself was adapted from Roy Horniman’s 1907 novel, “Israel Rank: The Autobiography of a Criminal.” Both the novel and the Ealing film also served as the foundation for the Tony Award-winning musical, “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder.” The script by Ford was recognized on the 2014 Black List as one of the year’s best.
Behind the scenes……
John Patton Ford, the director and writer of Emily the Criminal, helms How to Make a Killing. The script gained recognition on the 2014 Black List of top unproduced screenplays. The film features a cast including Powell (known for The Running Man and Top Gun: Maverick), Margaret Qualley (The Substance, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, Maid), Jessica Henwick (Cuckoo, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery), Zach Woods (Silicon Valley, In The Know), Topher Grace (Flight Risk, BlacKkKlansman), and Ed Harris (Love Lies Bleeding, Top Gun: Maverick).
How To Make a Killing is in UK & Irish cinemas on 13th Match 2026
