The Lowrise is a safehouse located in the Carcadia Burn area of Borderlands 4. It’s pretty rundown and can be tricky to get to – you’ll have to make your way through a lot of damaged areas and wreckage. But that shouldn’t be too difficult for a Vault Hunter, particularly one who has a grappling hook! This guide will show you how to unlock the Lowrise easily.
How to Unlock The Lowrise Safehouse | Borderlands 4

Okay, so the safehouse, “The Lowrise,” is located in the Carcadia Burn region. You’ll find it near the southeastern part of the Tonnage Peel area – I’ve checked the map, and it’s pretty clear. Head there to start taking it over and unlocking it. It’s the first step, so let’s get it done!

When you get close to the safehouse, find a broken pipe you can use your grappling hook on. Don’t worry about any “out of order” signs – you have a grappling hook, so you can bypass those!
Okay, so to get to the top of The Lowrise, you basically just follow the path that wraps around the outside. It’s a lot of fighting off enemies while you’re constantly grappling and climbing, but just keep going up and you’ll get there! It’s a tough climb, but totally worth it.
When you get to the top of The Lowrise, don’t go to the main entrance. Instead, head northwest to find a concrete piece where you’ll find the Datapad needed to capture the safehouse.
After you get the Datapad, turn around and head south to find the main terminal. It’s located directly across from the entrance, as shown in the video. Use the terminal after collecting the Datapad to unlock The Lowrise, which will become a safehouse you can use whenever you like.
That’s everything you need to do to make The Lowrise a safehouse in Borderlands 4. It’s not as luxurious as somewhere like Wyclef’s Reprieve, but it’s great to have another private base in Kairos!
