Hulu is bringing the beloved animated series back for another season! Following the success of last year’s new episodes, the premiere date has now been announced.
Get ready for more King of the Hill! The show is coming back to Hulu on July 20, 2026, not long after the first season of the revival. Season 15 will have 10 episodes, and all of them will be available to stream at once, so you can watch the whole season whenever you want. A new poster has also been released, showing Hank and the gang hanging out in their usual alley spot – you can check it out below.
Fans Can Return to Arlen, Texas on Hulu in July
In the new season, Hank and Peggy are adjusting to retirement on Rainey Street, and trying to help their neighbors avoid trouble. Meanwhile, Bobby is balancing his old friendships with the challenges of starting his own business.
The latest poster offers clues about what will happen in the new season. We see Hank with a Strickland Propane jacket and a dog leash, Bill holding a plant with a well-worn cow toy nearby, and Dale with his pet rats and a magnet for his beer. Boomhauer is surrounded by chickens, Peggy is using a fan to cool off, and Kahn is looking suspiciously over the fence. In the background, you can also spot Big Tex, the mascot of the Texas State Fair, partially hidden by trees.
The Revival Series Is a Major Success for Hulu
The return of King of the Hill last year was a huge hit. In its first week on Hulu and Disney+, viewers watched over 1.2 billion minutes of the show. The revival season broke records, becoming the most popular premiere for an adult animated series on those platforms in five years, attracting 4.4 million viewers worldwide in just one week. Critics loved it too, giving it a remarkable 98% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Given its success, it wasn’t surprising when Hulu renewed the show last fall, and the first episodes of the new season will be available in July.
Mike Judge, one of the show’s creators, is back to voice Hank Hill and Boomhauer. He’s joined by the original cast, including Kathy Najimy as Peggy, Stephen Root as Bill, Pamela Adlon as Bobby, and Lauren Tom as Connie and Minh. The first season of the revival also features the final performances of Johnny Hardwick as Dale and Jonathan Joss as John Redcorn, both of whom have sadly passed away. Toby Huss, who previously played Cotton Hill and Kahn, will also be involved.
King of the Hill returns with its next season on July 20, 2026.
