Robert Kirkman, the creator of Invincible, has said the animated series aims to release a new season each year for the foreseeable future. While he hasn’t confirmed a specific date for Season 5, he mentioned it could arrive around April, May, or even January. He feels confident they’re on track, stating they’ve made significant progress and hope to maintain this yearly release schedule.

What Happens in Invincible Season 5?

Season 5 of Invincible is continuing to follow the storyline of the original comic books at a good speed. The fourth season ended around issue #78, which is a little past the halfway point of the entire comic series. The creator, Robert Kirkman, has said the animated show will likely need 7 to 9 seasons to tell the complete story, and it looks like they’re still on track for that length, given how things are progressing.

Now that Thragg and the Vltrumites are in hiding on Earth, Mark can refocus on dealing with them. However, as we’ve seen, Earth is always facing some kind of crisis. Dinosaurus is set to become a key player in future events, especially after his appearance in Season 4, and Mark will continue to clash with Thragg. Things are definitely going to get more chaotic.
