
A new update is now available for Invincible VS, the fighting game that launched last week. While players have generally enjoyed the game, some have reported issues with certain characters. The developer, Quarter Up, is releasing a quick hotfix to fix these problems.
A new patch is available now for Invincible VS on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. This update mainly addresses bugs and issues, with a major focus on rebalancing the character Conquest, who was previously considered too powerful. The patch also includes improvements to the tutorial and notes that the developers are aware of and working on other problems.
Quarter Up is planning a larger update to improve gameplay in Invincible VS. This update will likely rebalance many of the characters, significantly changing how the game is played. While thereâs no release date yet, we expect to hear more details soon, likely within the next few days or weeks.

Quality of Life Updates
- The Tutorial feed now shows the Motion Inputs correctly
- Descriptive text still references Standard Inputs
- Default input for Taunt on Motion Inputs is updated to L+H (previously L+A1)Â Â
- You can now skip match intros Â
- Improved mouse focus/navigation when alt-tabbing on PCÂ Â
Bug Fixes
CHARACTERS
- Conquest can no longer chain Jump Charged Medium into itselfÂ
- Conquest jumping charged Medium now scales correctly when repeated in the same comboÂ
GAMEPLAY
- Fixed how Rollback handles VFX
- This should remove unintended strobe FX or lingering VFX when playing online, especially during Ultimate and Super animations.Â
RANKED
We’ve fixed the issue with League Points (LP) on our end, but you won’t see the changes reflected on the main menu until you either find a match or restart the game.
- When an opponent disconnects during a match, the in-game messaging will now clearly state, âOpponent disconnected. You win!â
- Reminder that you will always gain LP when an opponent disconnects.Â
- Players will always lose LP when disconnecting from a matchÂ
- Leaving a Ranked Match using the âReturn to Main Menuâ path now has clearer messaging indicating that youâre conceding the match and will lose LPÂ
LOBBY
- Fixed an issue where players couldnât join crossplay-disabled lobbies in some situationsÂ
- Several fixes related to SpectateÂ
MOTION INPUTS
- Improved Motion Controls handling of Boosted Dash inputs (previously, if you plinked it would have unintentionally cost a full bar of Boost Meter when you were off by one frame with the input)Â
- Fixed bug that prevented motion input players from entering passwords for lobbies
PRACTICE
- Setting Dummy in training mode to Jump should do a full jump instead of short hop nowÂ
STORY MODE
- Fixed a bug where AI in Story Mode would get a 5% damage increase if Player 2 was set to motion controls in Local Versus Â
REPLAYS
- Added messaging during the First Time User Experience to make it clear that replays from older versions of the game will be deletedÂ
- Replays will now be sorted from new-to-old by defaultÂ
GENERAL
- Fixed issues that caused multiple crashesÂ
- Fixed several uncommon soft lock statesÂ
- Several localization fixes/updatesÂ
- Opening your Player Profile from Leaderboards now functions as expectedÂ
Known Issues
RANKED
- LP can sometimes take up to 30 seconds to verify on the backend after a disconnect (you should still always see it update on your next Match Found or reboot)Â
- PS5: Rarely, you will get no error message when an opponent disconnectsÂ
- Ranked LP is still gained/lost correctly when this happensÂ
REPLAYS
- Watching a full Replay will change your control scheme to the P1 control scheme from the replayÂ
TUTORIAL
- Pop-up windows explaining moves in Tutorial donât always adapt to Motion Inputs (left sidebar is always correct)Â
STORY + ARCADE MODE
- Xbox: Subtitles are not workingÂ
