Sony is launching three new commercials today to mark the fifth anniversary of the PlayStation 5, highlighting everything the console has to offer.
The commercials are titled ‘The Greatest Stunt Jump Ever,’ ‘The Unexpected Catch,’ and ‘Everyday Problems in Extraordinary Vehicles.’
As a PlayStation gamer, it’s awesome to hear that the team is really listening to us! Isabelle Tomatis, a big boss at PlayStation, said they’ve been seeing all our reactions – the ‘wow’ moments, the hype, and the surprises – while we’re playing PS5. That’s what inspired their new ad campaign: they’re trying to capture those truly unexpected and unforgettable experiences we all have when we’re lost in a game on PS5.

The PlayStation 5 launched in the US on November 12, 2020, with a global release following a week later. PlayStation has announced they’ll be running real-world events in certain countries to match the look and feel of their recent advertisements. These events might include things like simulated UFO landings in Australia, Spain, and Germany, or the appearance of mysterious creatures in Mexico, Italy, and the UK.
