Jack Black Reacts After Elle Fanning Calls Him “Sex on Legs”

Jack Black can’t believe he’s getting this sweet praise.

More than two months after Elle Fanning playfully called him “sex on legs” and exclaimed “hallelujah,” the School of Rock actor finally responded to the compliment with good humor.

In a TikTok video posted on December 14th, Jack, 56, jokingly discussed body dysmorphia with Paul Rudd. He described it as feeling unattractive when you’re actually beautiful, then playfully suggested his wife has the opposite problem – seeing him, who he jokingly calls a ‘goblin gremlin,’ as gorgeous.

Jack Black playfully described Elle Fanning’s attraction to him as “Goblin Dysmorphia,” then added that he was pleased to hear her say so.

Jack, who shares 19-year-old Samuel and 17-year-old Thomas with his wife, Tanya Haden, was surprised to hear the confession from the Maleficent actor. Paul, however, responded that he understood.

Jack has always been a bit of a hidden crush, and Elle openly complimented his looks back in September. During an appearance with her sister, Dakota Fanning, on Vanity Fair’s Lie Detection Test, they confessed to having a group chat specifically for sharing how attractive they find him.

The 27-year-old called Jack ‘the hottest man I’ve ever seen,’ and explained that her boyfriend—the executive chairman of Rolling Stone magazine—had jokingly told Jack she had a crush on him at the Golden Globes in January. ‘Gus actually shouted to him, ‘Just so you know, she’s got a hall pass for you!” she said, meaning Jack was aware of her feelings.

As for how Elle felt meeting him for the first time at the ceremony?

She shared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last December that meeting him “changed her life.” She admitted she still gets flustered and turns red when she thinks about him, adding that she finds him incredibly funny and wonderful.
