Duke Nicholson’s life is now as good as it gets.

Jack Nicholson’s grandson recently got engaged to social media personality Devon Lee Carlson. She shared the happy news with her followers on Instagram after nearly four years of dating.

On June 17th, Devon shared pictures announcing her engagement! She showed off her diamond ring in one photo and, in another, was seen happily raising her arm while surrounded by clothes in a closet. Her caption simply included a white heart and three exclamation points.

She shared a close-up photo of her ring on Instagram Stories, showcasing its round-cut diamond and two smaller diamonds set on a gold band.

And Devon and Duke’s friends were thrilled by the couple’s change in relationship status. 

Emily Ratajkowski commented “Crying throwing up love to see,” while Hailey Bieber simply replied with a red heart emoji and the letters “DLNNN.”

Kendall Jenner shared her support for the couple with several heart emojis, and Lori Harvey excitedly wrote, “Congratulations my angel girl!!!”

Devon and Duke, both 26, have generally kept their relationship private, particularly since Duke doesn’t use social media. However, Devon often shares updates about their special moments.

The founder of Wildflower Cases shared a sweet message on Instagram in July 2025, writing ‘3 years with you!’ and adding, ‘I love you so much, Duke. It’s ‘cou cou.’

They first connected behind the scenes at a Lana Del Rey concert – Duke even modeled for the cover of her album, Norman Fking Rockwell – but their romantic relationship began later.

Devon shared with Nylon magazine that they ran into each other at a party a couple of months later and discovered they were born on the same day.

Duke, whose mother is Jennifer Nicholson (Jack’s daughter), was charmed by Devon’s friendly and interesting personality.

He told Nylon that what first drew him to Devon was how easily she connected with people through genuine kindness and warmth. He noted she consistently showed respect to everyone, no matter their background or relationship to her.

Besides starring in Jordan Peele’s Us, Duke has also acted in Traveling Light (2021) and the upcoming In the Hand of Dante (2025).
