Jaclyn Hill’s beauty industry knowledge is coming in clutch.
The influencer suspected that cosmetic fillers she’d gotten years ago to reduce smile lines had shifted under her skin. An ultrasound later proved her right, revealing a noticeable bulge near her chin was caused by the filler moving from its original location.
Jaclyn expressed relief during a March 1st TikTok video from a doctor’s visit, saying, “I knew this was filler migration. I’m not crazy,” and adding that she was very happy.
She jokingly added, “My name is Jaclyn and I’ve been living with migrated filler.”
She’s thrilled with how much her appearance has improved after losing weight over the last few years, noting that her face looks very different now.
After having her filler removed, she expressed relief, saying she realized she’d used so much over the years in pursuit of a certain appearance. She was thrilled to have her natural look back and praised the doctor, saying they were fantastic and well worth the cost.
And she gave her doctor all the praise.
She was amazed, saying, “It’s incredible you can do this without any numbing cream! I’ve gotten dissolvable tattoos before, and they always hurt a lot. This isn’t hurting at all – she’s really skilled.”
Jaclyn was happy with how her face was looking after the procedure, but her doctor explained that it would continue to improve as any swelling subsided, ultimately revealing her natural appearance.

Jaclyn expressed her deep gratitude to the doctor, jokingly saying, “God bless you—what more can we possibly do for you besides pay your bill?”
The 35-year-old also emphasized the potential pitfalls of following cosmetic trends.
She explained in a social media post that while she’s never had filler directly injected in that spot, filler from other areas had moved over time, creating a noticeable bulge. She first noticed it after losing weight and said it had been bothering her a lot. She believes it’s a result of the popular facial filler trend from 2016.
I’ve always admired Jaclyn for being so open and honest about getting work done, and it’s really refreshing! It makes you realize she’s not alone – lots of other celebrities are sharing their stories about plastic surgery too. I’m definitely curious to learn about who else has been open about their experiences, so I’m excited to read on and find out!

As a parent, one of my biggest fears is my children grappling with body image issues so severely that they’d consider drastic measures just to be thin. Honestly, I’m okay with someone choosing cosmetic procedures like a nose job or breast augmentation if that’s what makes them feel good. But when it comes to potentially life-altering surgeries just to achieve a certain weight, I truly believe that points to a deeper mental health struggle.
