Jason Biggs, Jenny Mollen Step Out Together After Confirming Breakup

Jason Biggs and Jenny Mollen are entering their next chapter together.

Just weeks after announcing their split after 18 years of marriage on May 14th, the former couple showed they remain friendly while spending time with their sons, 12-year-old Sid and 8-year-old Lazlo, in New York City on June 7th.

Oh my gosh, I just have to tell you what I saw! They were holding hands, so cute, heading to dinner as a family. He – Biggs, he’s 48, looking totally casual in jeans, a white t-shirt, and this cool open shirt. And she – Mollen, 47, was absolutely stunning! A tiny white skirt, a black tank, this amazing gold belt, and flip-flops! Seriously, they’re perfect together.

Mollen stayed close to Biggs as they walked through Manhattan, and they sat together at an outdoor table with their children, who mostly stayed hidden from view.

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe this! During dinner, Jason Biggs actually had to step away because his stomach was bothering him. And the sweetest thing happened – Jenny Mollen followed him, like, all the way to the dumpster! She just put her hand on his back to comfort him. It was SO cute and real, and I’m completely obsessed with their relationship. Seriously, dumpster-side comfort? Goals!

Just after news of their separation, Mollen and Biggs were seen out together, seemingly on good terms. A representative for the couple confirmed the split on May 14th and stated they are committed to peacefully co-parenting their children.

Although Josh Biggs hasn’t spoken about the situation, Katie Mollen has discussed how she’s adjusting to being single after almost two decades.

Mollen announced on her Substack that she’s heading to Italy on Wednesday. She jokingly compared the trip to the movie Eat, Pray, Love, acknowledging her life is at a turning point. However, she clarified she’s not embarking on a self-discovery journey or a romantic adventure, as she already has a full home with her two children, who are part Italian.

Despite this, she hinted she was still upset about her breakup with Biggs, playfully saying that during her travels, she planned to aggressively hit a piñata if she found one.

Even before the couple officially announced their split, the author had been openly discussing the difficulties they were facing in their relationship.

In a recent post on her Substack newsletter, actress Callie Twine revealed she’s never experienced a breakup and has always been the one who liked someone a little more. She now jokingly predicts she’s about to get her comeuppance and face a painful heartbreak!

Even though Mollen and Biggs are no longer a couple, it’s clear they still care for each other. Read on for more examples of amicable exes…

They are definitely not getting back together. However, with all the recent interactions – birthday celebrations, affectionate hugs, and even playfully acting out a romantic scene during the virtual reading of Fast Times at Ridgemont High – it feels like they’re just teasing everyone who hoped they’d reconcile.

Sarah proved she’s confident and playful when she appeared on her ex-husband Jimmy’s talk show. She was there to promote her new series, I Love You, America, and playfully teased him about his wife, Molly Kimmel, describing her as “cute,” “bright,” and “funny.” Joking about the difference between them, Sarah quipped, “It’s not fair! She gets the updated, more aware Jimmy. I only got the Man Show Jimmy.”

Honestly, as a longtime fan, I was still a little heartbroken over Anna Faris and Chris Pratt’s split when I heard about his relationship with Katherine Schwarzenegger. It genuinely surprised me how gracious Anna was – she even offered to officiate their wedding! And when Lyla was born in 2020, she sent a gift, which just showed how much she cares. I was so happy to hear she was thrilled for Jack to have a little sister and that she’s been so supportive of their new family. It really speaks to her character.

It could have easily fallen apart for these former partners. But over four years after a difficult breakup, the HGTV stars are thriving in two areas: raising their children, Taylor and Brayden, and successfully renovating dilapidated houses into beautiful homes.

Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet, who have a daughter, actress Zoe Kravitz, describe their relationship as a close, familial bond – essentially, they’re still best friends, as Lenny put it in a 2013 interview with Oprah Winfrey. Despite their separation and Lisa’s subsequent marriage to and divorce from Jason Momoa, they maintain a happy and connected family dynamic. Lenny sees it as a positive example of how things can work out beautifully.

Since the Dancing With the Stars co-host and retired hockey player separated in 2020, they’ve consistently shown they remain friendly with each other.

As a lifestyle expert, I was thrilled to hear about Brooks’ engagement to Katrín Tanja Davíðsdóttir last December! It’s such wonderful news, and I immediately shared my congratulations online. I posted that I’m so happy for them as they start this exciting new chapter, wishing them a lifetime filled with love, laughter, and amazing adventures together. It’s truly heartwarming to see them find happiness!

The dancer, her ex-husband, and his pregnant fiancée spent a day together at the lake. She shared a photo of the four of them with a caption calling them ‘cuties’ and describing it as a ‘special day’.

Since splitting up in 2015, the parents of Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel have managed a remarkably friendly co-parenting relationship. They continue to vacation and celebrate holidays together, and Ben has publicly praised his ex-partner, calling her “an amazing mother” in a 2016 interview with TopMob News.

Okay, so Nina and Ian… ugh, they broke up in 2013 after dating for three years, which was devastating, but somehow they stayed friends! Can you believe it? Then, in 2014, Ian started dating Nikki Reed – Nikki Reed! – and they got married so quickly! Of course, Nina had to be polite and became friends with Nikki too. It’s just… a lot to process, honestly. I’ve been following their lives for years, and it’s still wild to me!

As a lifestyle expert, I remember when news broke that the singer and her partner of five years decided to go their separate ways back in July 2016. It was sad, but what I found interesting was how she spoke about it a few months later on Howard Stern’s show. She emphasized that despite the romantic relationship ending, they remained incredibly close, describing him as both a former lover and a cherished friend – someone she’d known and cared for deeply for a long time.

“We love each other,” she said. “That’s it.”

Even years after The Office ended in 2013, the chemistry between its stars continues to resonate with fans. Mindy Kaling understands why people still hope they’d become a couple, admitting, ‘If I wasn’t part of it, I’d feel the same way.’ However, she explained to Good Housekeeping in 2019 that B.J. Novak is now more like family than just a friend, which is why she chose him to be a godfather to her children.

Bruce Willis and Demi Moore are famous for having a friendly relationship even after their divorce. So it wasn’t surprising they decided to quarantine together with their daughters, Rumer, Tallulah, and Scout, at their Idaho home. Sounds like they made the best of it – maybe even with a dance party!

Even four years after their 2014 divorce, Jennifer Lopez continued to praise her ex-husband, the father of her twins Max and Emme. In a 2018 interview on Sunday Today, she explained that Marc Anthony boosted her confidence during their marriage, recognizing her insecurities. He consistently told her she was a talented singer and encouraged her not to listen to anyone who said otherwise. Lopez expressed deep respect for him, considering him one of the greatest singers ever.

You know, life throws curveballs, and sometimes relationships change. Even though things haven’t always been easy – it’s been years since my divorce – I’m still there for my ex-husband, and honestly, we’ve navigated it all pretty well. We actually have a really good co-parenting relationship with our daughter, Coco, and that’s what truly matters. I’ve always believed that even when a marriage ends, you can still maintain respect and support, and I’m grateful we’ve been able to do that. I shared this a while back on Running Wild with Bear Grylls, and it still rings true today.

Although their relationship ended in 2007, they still had great chemistry on screen when they starred in the 2011 film Bad Teacher.

Although the actors had a difficult time immediately after their 2013 separation, they’ve now reached a point where they can vacation together as a group. He explained to the magazine that relationships evolve and that even though he and his ex-wife are no longer together, they can still care for each other. He noted that people enter your life for a reason, and relationships can change over time.

Even though they unexpectedly separated in September 2012, the couple made an effort to appear supportive of each other for the sake of their children.
