Jennie Garth thinks on Shannen Doherty with love.
The actress recently revealed details about her relationship with Shannen Doherty, who sadly passed away from breast cancer in 2024 at age 53. They worked together on the show Beverly Hills, 90210, and at the time, there were a lot of rumors about them not getting along.
Jennie explained that when they were working on the series, things moved so quickly they didn’t have the ability or the right communication skills to properly address issues. They never had a chance to really talk things through. Their relationship was up and down – they’d be friends, then disagree, then be friends again.
Looking back, we were all so young,” she said. “When you’re navigating a competitive world, especially one where a show creates rivalry – between cast members, with the press, and with public opinion – things can get tough, and it’s easy to lose perspective.
Jennie and Shannen, the actresses who played Kelly Taylor and Brenda Walsh, were pushed to play up their characters’ rivalry on the show, even though they actually respected each other in real life.
As the star of Girl, Positive put it, “Every situation has more than one perspective.” She explained that the media often fabricates details about relationships to create sensational stories, and she and her partner were caught in the middle of that.
We were constantly growing and learning through everything. Looking back, blaming others for difficult experiences doesn’t help. We handled things as best we could at the time, and we didn’t let negativity come between us.

Jennie Garth, known for her role in What I Like About You and mother to Luca (28), Lola (23), and Fiona (19) with her ex-husband Peter Facinelli, recently shared how Shannen Doherty affected her life following Doherty’s passing in 2024.
Jennie recently told People magazine that despite any challenges, she deeply respected the other woman as a fellow long-time professional in their field. She explained that she learned a lot from her, especially about being assertive, advocating for herself, and confidently expressing her opinions. Jennie expressed lasting gratitude for their relationship and the valuable lessons she received.
“Even though at times it was complicated,” she added, “it was still really good.”

In January 2024, Bobby (second from left in the picture) spoke about reports of a disagreement with Tan (in the middle). This came two months after Bobby announced he was leaving Queer Eye after being on the show for eight seasons.
He assured Vanity Fair that he and Tan are doing okay. He explained they went through a personal issue, but it’s separate from their work on the show and wasn’t a romantic matter. It was something they’d been dealing with privately for a while.
In March 2024, Tan addressed claims that he tried to get his friend Jeremiah Brent to replace Bobby on the show Queer Eye.
Netflix and the production team held extensive auditions. I didn’t recommend my friend for the role, but they ultimately earned it because they were the most qualified. I also want to clarify that I didn’t help them get the part by having another actor removed from consideration, as he explained in an Instagram post.

During a September 2023 game of “Stir the Pot” with her daughter, Kelly Osbourne, on TopMob News, Sharon Osbourne revealed that she considered Danny Masterson, known from “That ’70s Show,” to be the rudest celebrity she’d ever encountered. She described him as a consistently impolite and unpleasant person.
He did not respond to her remarks publicly.
Five years ago, Sharon shared with Larry King that Ashton seemed upset during his 2014 appearance on The Talk after she mispronounced his name.
She remembered him asking, ‘Who are you and what have you accomplished in this field?’ She responded sharply, telling him, ‘Don’t underestimate me, because I’ll completely overwhelm you.’ She essentially warned him that he didn’t realize who he was up against.

In August 2022, Cassadee Pope and Maren Morris publicly disagreed with Brittany Aldean, wife of country singer Jason Aldean, after Brittany posted a video on Instagram. In the video, she thanked her parents for not allowing her to transition genders during a phase where she preferred traditionally masculine interests, and expressed her enjoyment of a feminine lifestyle.

In a 2022 TikTok trend, JoJo Siwa called Candace Cameron Bure the “rudest” celebrity she’d met, explaining that Bure had once refused to pose for a photo with her at a red carpet event. Shortly after, Cameron Bure apologized, saying she regretted hurting Siwa’s feelings when she was younger and was truly sorry for not taking the picture.
Candace and the other person resolved their differences. However, when asked months later if her network, Great American Family, would ever feature same-sex couples as the main characters in holiday films, she stated it wouldn’t, explaining that the network would continue to focus on traditional marriage.
JoJo, who publicly shared they are part of the LGBTQ+ community in 2021, responded to the actress’ comment on Instagram, calling it “rude and hurtful to an entire community.”

In June 2021, Courtney Love claimed Olivia Rodrigo had copied the album cover art for her band Hole in a promotional photo without giving proper credit. Olivia responded with a simple, “Love u and live through this sooooo much.” Courtney then playfully replied, “Olivia – you’re welcome! My favorite florist is in Notting Hill, London! DM me for details! I look forward to reading your note [winking face emoji].”

While on Watch What Happens Live, actor Henry Winkler was asked about his difficult relationship with Tom Hanks during filming of their 1989 movie, Turner & Hooch.
I directed the movie for thirteen days, and then Jeff Katzenberg, the producer, called me into his office and told me to pack up and go home, as I had everything I needed with me, he said.
Winkler and Hanks’ dog seemed to get along very well. “I really loved that dog,” Winkler said.
He also refused to admit if he’s even seen the flick.

“You know what you did!”
Those who watched The Hills likely recall Lauren’s famous line from the start of season three. The drama between her and Heidi began when Heidi started dating Spencer Pratt. It reached a boiling point when Lauren claimed Heidi and Spencer spread a false rumor that she had made a sex tape with her boyfriend at the time, Jason Wahler.

Let me tell you, the drama between some of the Fast & Furious cast has been ongoing for years! It really flared up back in 2017 when Tyrese took to Instagram to publicly call out Dwayne after the release date for the ninth film got pushed. Interestingly, on the very same day, news broke about a spin-off movie starring Dwayne and Jason Statham, set to come out in 2019. Things escalated quickly – the next month, Tyrese even threatened to leave Fast 9 altogether if Dwayne was still involved. It was a messy situation, and honestly, a lot to handle behind the scenes!
Tyrese recently discussed the long-standing conflict with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, telling Van Lathan on The Red Pill podcast that he still hasn’t spoken to Johnson directly, though they plan to talk. He did mention having a conversation with one of Johnson’s producing partners, but not with Johnson himself.
Tyrese admitted he shouldn’t have publicly shared frustrations he heard from others involved with the franchise. He explained he was the one who spoke out, and he takes responsibility for that, saying it wasn’t professional or appropriate.

No more bad blood here.
Taylor Swift and Katy Perry were famously feuding for years, with some believing the conflict fueled Swift’s song “Bad Blood.” The disagreement, which began with issues over a dancer and competition during their tours, was resolved when Perry sent Swift an olive branch as a peace offering before Swift’s Reputation Tour began.
Taylor shared in an Instagram video that she found a real olive branch in her dressing room, saying it meant a lot to her.
Taylor captioned the video, “Thank you Katy.”

For years, Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker, stars of Sex and the City, dismissed rumors of a disagreement. However, those rumors resurfaced when Kim chose not to participate in a third movie and made some pointed comments about her co-star.
During a September 2017 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen asked Sarah Jessica Parker how she felt about Kim Cattrall telling Piers Morgan that they were never truly friends, only coworkers.
She was deeply upset, saying she was “just heartbroken.” They had talked about it all week, and she found it really disturbing because her memory of what happened was completely different.
It’s definitely been tough, but honestly, what I keep coming back to is that shared journey we all had. It started as a job, sure, but it became so much more than that – it took up years of our lives! I really hope that those years, and the special connection we all felt doing something amazing, will overshadow any recent drama. It was such a gift to be a part of something that meant so much to so many people.
And though they didn’t film scenes together, Kim did make a small appearance on And Just Like That.

Elton John and Madonna have been publicly disagreeing since 2004. The conflict began when Elton, while accepting an award, criticized Madonna’s live performances. He famously told the audience, “Madonna, best live act? That’s ridiculous!” He went on to say that lip-syncing shouldn’t be considered a live performance and suggested performers who lip-sync should face consequences, as fans are paying a lot of money to see a real show.

The actress, formerly known for her role on Grey’s Anatomy, caused a disagreement with the show’s creator back in 2008 when she asked to no longer be considered for an Emmy Award. She explained that she didn’t think the storylines she was given were strong enough to justify a nomination.
Shonda Rhimes discussed Katherine Heigl’s departure in a 2012 interview with Oprah Winfrey on Oprah’s Next Chapter. She admitted it was both hurtful and expected. “When someone shows you their true colors, pay attention,” Rhimes explained. “I’ve really taken that to heart and it’s helped me a lot.”

The fight between Nicki and Cardi at the Harper’s Bazaar Icon party during New York Fashion Week made headlines everywhere. A month later, Cardi publicly explained what started the argument with Nicki.
Cardi B told W magazine that someone has been repeatedly criticizing her. She explained that she’d talked to this person twice and thought they’d resolved the issue, but the criticism continued.
Honestly, things really blew up when I saw Cardi reacted to a tweet about how she parents. Apparently, Nicki supposedly liked it, then quickly unliked it, though she claims she never even saw it. That’s what really set Cardi off, and I could see why – it felt like a direct attack.
Cardi explained she turned down a potentially hugely profitable Bruno Mars tour because she wanted to be with her daughter. She strongly emphasized her love for her child and how dedicated she is as a mother. She also pointed out that opportunities to meet artists unexpectedly are rare, and she wasn’t going to pass up this chance just because some people thought it wasn’t the right setting.

The conflict between Kanye West and Taylor Swift began in 2009 when he interrupted her acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards. They later reconciled and became friends, but their relationship fell apart in 2016 following the release of Kanye’s song “Famous,” which mentioned Taylor by name.
Just before the Grammy Awards in February 2025, Kanye West began following Taylor Swift on Instagram. He didn’t offer any explanation for this action, and Taylor Swift didn’t publicly acknowledge it.

“I don’t know her.”
The rumored rivalry between Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez began with a 2003 television interview in Germany. When asked about Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey famously responded, “I don’t know her.”
