ITV is bringing back the reality dating show Farmer Wants a Wife, and this time, Jeremy Clarkson’s partner, Lisa Hogan, will be hosting.
Now called Farming for Love, this show features single farmers looking for love. It gives viewers a glimpse into contemporary British farming and provides these farmers with a real chance at finding romance in a truly genuine environment.
Farmers choose potential partners based on their applications and then invite them to live and work on the farm, giving them a real taste of what country life is like.
As couples share their lives and careers, they find out if their love can grow beyond initial attraction.
After a period of getting to know each other, each farmer has to decide which contestant they see a future with and make their final choice.

The show originally debuted in 2001, hosted by Catherine Gee. It was later revived in 2009 with Louise Redknapp as the host, and broadcast on channel 5.
Fifty-one-year-old Lisa explained why she joined the show, saying that farming, like any good relationship, demands toughness, patience, and a sense of humor.
The best thing about Farming for Love is its authenticity. Farm life doesn’t allow for pretense, and that creates a genuine environment where people can truly get to know each other – and it’s a formula that’s worked well internationally.
“I am really looking forward to leading this flock in their search for romance.”

I’m a huge fan of this show, and it’s amazing how many lives it’s actually brought together! I heard it’s caused over 250 marriages and more than 600 babies worldwide – that’s incredible! Apparently, the Australian version is the most successful one, with over 20 couples getting married across its 16 seasons. It’s just so heartwarming to see!
The American version of the show has become more popular recently, especially after a new series launched in 2023 on Hulu.
Farming for Love is coming to ITV.
