Jessi Draper isn’t keeping her post-breakup life a secret.
Just one month after her husband, Jordan Ngatikaura, started divorce proceedings, the star of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives publicly shared how she’s been doing in her personal life.
As a lifestyle expert, I often talk about the importance of self-worth, and I really connected with Jessi’s recent comments about her marriage. She shared that she went through a period of grieving within her five-year relationship, and I think a lot of us can relate to that. It’s tough when you’re with someone who doesn’t make you feel valued or treat you well. Jessi explained that simply connecting with people who do make you feel good – just having fun and feeling appreciated – can be incredibly healing. It’s a reminder that prioritizing your own well-being, even while you’re dating, is essential.
As many of you know, I’m a dad to three amazing kids: Jagger and Jovi with my wife Jessi, and my daughter Peyton from a previous relationship. I wanted to share that Jessi and I have decided to separate and have filed for divorce. It’s a difficult time, but we’re both committed to co-parenting and ensuring our children are happy and healthy.
The hairstylist has been open about dating, but 33-year-old Jessi has made it clear that being a mom always comes first.
I often see people telling me to prioritize healing and my kids,” she said. “But I believe it’s possible to do both – to focus on getting better and still be there for my children.
Now that I share custody of my kids half the time, I’m prioritizing my own well-being and enjoying time with them. When they’re not with me, I’m focusing on my happiness and rediscovering what’s important. It’s been liberating to simply feel joy and realize that not all men need to be like those I’ve dealt with in the past.

The reality TV star, who has been linked romantically to her Vanderpump Villas co-star, Marciano Brunette after a public kiss, shared that both journaling and therapy are important for her personal growth. She also feels that dating is another helpful step in the healing process.
She admitted she’s become cynical about relationships and is now afraid of getting hurt. Because of that, she’s been enjoying simply feeling happy and exploring new experiences.
She said she’s planning to stay single for a while, enjoying time with different people, making connections, and prioritizing her own well-being.
Jessi explained that as she moves forward, she’s choosing not to speak negatively about her divorce anymore.

She stated she’d already shared her thoughts on the matter, and explained she’d been living in a constant state of stress for years.
With filming of Mormon Wives back underway after a short pause due to legal issues involving Taylor Frankie Paul, Jessi has expressed her willingness to share her experiences on camera.
She described divorce as a really frightening, difficult, and painful experience. However, she’s also looking forward to returning to filming and sharing her journey through it.

Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen began dating while on the reality show The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and had a son, Ever, in 2024. However, their relationship ended because Dakota was unfaithful.
Taylor shared on the second episode of her Hulu series that shortly after her daughter Ever was born, she and her boyfriend, Dakota, were very happy and she was even thinking about getting engaged. However, she then discovered he had been dishonest with her the whole time.
Taylor was accused by a woman named Jenna of having a relationship with Dakota, claiming they had been intimate on multiple occasions. Taylor has publicly denied these accusations, stating in a TikTok post from September 2024 that he was faithful.
On the series, Taylor said that Dakota accused Jenna of instigating their affair.
I remember her telling it to the cameras, so clearly. She was adamant it was him. He claimed it was just a kiss on the couch, but she corrected him. It wasn’t just a kiss, she explained – they actually got intimate right there on the couch, and then things continued in the bedroom. She really laid it all out.

After her breakup with the founder of Basin Tiling, the mother of three (who shares two children with her former husband, Tate Paul) was scheduled to look for love on the 22nd season of The Bachelorette. However, things became complicated when reports surfaced in March 2026 of a possible disagreement between her and her ex-husband a few weeks prior.
A representative from the Draper City Police Department told People magazine they are investigating a reported domestic assault. According to the police, both people involved have accused each other of wrongdoing.
A video from earlier in 2023 showing a physical fight between Taylor and Dakota appeared online a few days later. As a result, ABC canceled Taylor’s season of the dating show she was on.

Whitney Leavitt married Connor Leavitt in 2016, and the two quickly became partners in life as well as dance. Together, they have three children – Sedona, Liam, and Billy – and have worked through challenges while living their lives in the public eye.
For instance, the Dancing With the Stars alum had to shut down rumors about her husband’s sexuality.
In an October 2024 appearance on the Off the Vine podcast, she jokingly asked if she needed to resort to extreme measures to prove things were okay, saying, “Trust me, we’re good. Everything’s fine.”
She explained that he had battled a pornography addiction, something I wasn’t aware of personally. She mentioned a scene where a friend observed his sexual confusion, hinting at the root of his struggles.
Despite facing challenges, the reality star shared that she and her husband, Connor, are more solid as a couple than ever before. They proved their commitment by renewing their wedding vows in February 2026, celebrating their tenth anniversary.
Conner shared with Brides that he and his partner got married at a young age. He explained that while their wedding day was special for them, it also felt like it was largely for their families. They wanted to create a celebration that truly reflected their own personalities, and they felt this was a really enjoyable way to do just that.

Okay, so Jen and Zac Affleck – totally unrelated to that Ben Affleck, even though everyone makes the same joke – have been married since 2019, but honestly, ever since their show started, people have been trying to break them up! It’s ridiculous, they’re perfect together, and the breakup rumors have been swirling since day one. I just don’t get it!
A major argument sparked by Jen going to a Chippendales show in Las Vegas was a central part of the first season. Despite the fight, the couple—parents to Nora, Penelope, and Lucas—reconciled, and the Dancing With the Stars contestant later spoke out to support their relationship.
Jen explained to TopMob News in November 2025 that dealing with constant speculation was exhausting. She said she’s used to people talking and sharing opinions, but feels it’s especially frustrating for the person involved when others don’t recognize the hard work and dedication happening privately.
She and Zac are prioritizing what’s most important and trying to ignore outside distractions, though it’s still a challenge for him.

Trouble surfaced in Jessi Draper and Jordan Ngatikaura’s five-year marriage when the hairstylist confessed to an emotional connection with Marciano Brunette from Vanderpump Villa. Despite early signs of improvement, the confession created difficulties.
Jessi, who has two children – Jagger and Jovi – with Jordan, told TopMob News in November 2025 that they were working on getting back together. She explained that relationships aren’t always easy, and that rebuilding theirs would take time and effort, not an instant fix.
Unfortunately, the couple’s attempt to reconcile didn’t last. Jordan, who also has a daughter named Peyton from a previous relationship, filed for divorce in March 2026, ending their five-year marriage.
A few days later, Jessi expressed surprise and said she hadn’t expected him to file the paperwork so quickly. She believed he prioritized getting media attention over everything else.
She said she was heartbroken to learn the news, explaining that she and her husband had planned to tell their children together before officially separating, but hadn’t had the chance. TopMob contacted Jordan’s lawyers for a statement, but they haven’t responded yet.

Mayci never thought she’d find love again, especially after her boyfriend, Arik Mack, unexpectedly passed away in 2015. She was 14 weeks pregnant with their son, Hudson, at the time and had resigned herself to raising him as a single mother. She certainly didn’t expect to find love with Jacob Neeley.
But it all changed when she met Jacob in 2016 at age 21, whom she would marry two years later.
In her memoir, Told You So, Mayci explained that she was cautious because of past experiences, but she and Jacob connected quickly. They stayed friends for a while, which made her comfortable with him meeting her son, since they weren’t officially dating yet.
She explained that Jacob was wonderful with him, and that made him even more appealing. Although she was scared of getting hurt again, she couldn’t ignore her feelings after four months. He was a kind, funny person who made her feel secure.
Mayci and Jacob went on to welcome daughters Harlow in 2021 and Charli in 2025.

Demi Engemann married Bret Engemann in 2021, following her divorce from Blake Corbin the year before. Their relationship, which was featured on a reality show, gained attention when Whitney gave Demi Fruity Pebbles, leading to discussions about their intimacy.
Jessi revealed the surprising reason behind the joke gift in a November 2025 Instagram post, explaining that her grandfather, Bret, drinks her urine as if it were a soft drink and consumes it quickly.
Demi and Bret aren’t upset about their past issues—even embarrassing ones. She told Entertainment Tonight in December that they’ve reached a point where they can just accept what happened and enjoy life.
Despite some public discussion about their intimate life, the couple is happily navigating life as a blended family. Demi has a daughter named Maude from a previous relationship, and Bret has two sons, Rome and Cole, with Angie Harrington, who is known from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
In June 2024, Demi shared on Instagram how incredibly devoted her partner is to his children. She said she’s never met a more involved or loving dad, and praised his consistent loyalty as a father and step-father to Maude, and his future role as a father to their own children. She was amazed by his ability to stay dedicated through everything life brings.

Mikayla Matthews and Jace Terry have a long history together. They first met in 2015, when Mikayla was 15, and had their son Beckham two years later. They married in 2018 and have since welcomed three more children: Haven, Tommie, and Lottie.
Mikayla and Jace are enjoying raising their four children, but Mikayla has expressed a desire to have more kids in the future.
In an interview with People magazine in February 2025, she said she’s always pictured having three or four children, though she wouldn’t rule out having six. She’s also looking forward to moving to a new house with plenty of outdoor space for her future family.
As a big fan of the show, I was really saddened to hear Mikayla share in the latest episode that she and Jace are hitting a rough patch. She explained they’re taking some time to work through difficulties with their intimacy, and honestly, it was tough to watch. I’m hoping they can figure things out!
Mikayla’s marriage suffered as she started to deal with the painful memories of sexual abuse she experienced as a teenager, and as her ongoing health problems worsened with stress.
You know, when the conversation turns to sex or intimacy, it’s really tough for me. Honestly, my stress levels are already so high – I’m constantly in that ‘fight or flight’ mode, completely overwhelmed. It feels like I’m already at my limit, and it’s hard to even begin to process anything further in those moments. It’s just…a lot.

Following her 2023 divorce from Clayton Wessel, with whom she shares sons Oliver and Maxwell, reality star Layla Taylor hinted at a new relationship with Mason McWhorter in July 2025.
Their relationship looked confusing when you mapped out the family connections. Here’s the deal: Mason’s brother is Chase McWhorter, who used to be married to Layla’s colleague, Miranda McWhorter. Despite the complicated background, they were both ready to see if their relationship could work.
In November 2025, Layla told Us Weekly that while she’s currently hesitant about marriage, she’s focused on building a deep connection with someone first. She expressed contentment with her relationship with Mason, adding that they would consider marriage if the topic ever arose.
Unfortunately, the mom of two confirmed that she and Mason had split in February 2026.
Layla explained that she and her partner were simply growing apart, and he needed space to pursue his own path. She understands and accepts his decision, and wishes him well in the future.

Miranda joined the show The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives in its second season and quickly became central to the widely discussed “soft swinging scandal” involving MomTok. However, despite the issues with Taylor, Miranda has stated that this wasn’t the cause of her divorce from Chase in 2024.
She explained on the Weekly Trash podcast in August 2024 that the reasons for their breakup had been brewing for a long time. While recent events might not have helped, she emphasized they weren’t a factor in the decision to split.
Nonetheless, she and Chase have been committed to parenting their kids Brooks and Cohen.
She admitted that coparenting requires constant effort. She also pointed out that if their relationship had been flawless, they likely wouldn’t have gotten divorced.
“The thing with him and I,” she continued, “we’ve always had a pretty good foundation of a friendship prior to even having a romantic relationship. I feel like that’s something that set us up for some level of success when it comes to co-parenting.”
