Jonathan “Foodgod” Cheban Addresses Kim Kardashian Feud Rumors

Jonathan Cheban is still keeping up with the Kardashians. 

The reality star, known professionally as Foodgod, recently clarified his relationship with Kim Kardashian and her family, addressing rumors about a possible rift in their friendship.

Jonathan shared with TopMob News at a recent event in New York City that while he isn’t part of group chats with the Kardashians, he did speak with Kim just a couple of days prior.

The 53-year-old explained that it’s hard for him and Kim to spend much time together because they both travel so much and have demanding jobs. Kim is also a busy mom to her four children – North, 12, Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 7 – whom she shares with her ex-husband, Kanye West.

Jonathan explained that his ex-wife told him she’d quickly returned to Los Angeles after visiting with their daughter, North. He added, ‘I told her we had just arrived in New York.’

We talk constantly, but it’s hard to see each other in person. I split my time between Miami and New York, and they’re based in LA, with her also traveling to Paris. It’s just a busy life with so many kids running around!

The food blogger confirmed he’s in frequent contact with the Kardashian-Jenner family, saying he recently saw Kris Jenner just a few weeks ago. He also shared that he’s very fond of the family.

Although Jonathan hasn’t been on Hulu’s The Kardashians yet – despite being a regular on Keeping Up With the Kardashians – he’d be willing to appear with Kim and her family on the show sometime in the future.

Jonathan joked that things felt like a reality TV show. He added that with people feeling nostalgic lately, he might need to make a comeback.

The Celebrity Big Brother UK star has said he’s eager to get back into reality TV after a break from it.

Jonathan says he’s really wanting to be on reality TV again. He’s been focusing on being an influencer lately, but he’s ready to return to TV. He especially enjoys shows like Villains, Traitors, and Big Brother – he actually appeared on the UK version of Big Brother.

Jonathan’s remarks follow Kim’s recent response to rumors of a falling out between the two friends.

Kim recently shared on Khloe Kardashian’s podcast, Khloe in Wonder Land, that she’s in love with Jonathan, and she was surprised people thought they weren’t in communication.

Indeed, the 45-year-old said that life sent them on two separate paths.

Okay, so I was dying to know about her and Jonathan, and she finally told me! Basically, she and Jonathan are fine, but she was explaining how hard it is to keep up with friends once you have kids – it’s just…consuming, you know? She said Jonathan isn’t the type to just hang out in Calabasas all day, he’s always traveling and working, so it’s tough to make time. I totally get it, but still…I ship them so hard!

As a longtime fan, it was really good to hear Bobby address the speculation about a rift with Tan back in January 2024. JoJo, who publicly shared they are part of the LGBTQ+ community in 2021, said on Instagram that the actress’s comment was offensive and caused pain to many people.

In June 2021, Courtney Love claimed Olivia Rodrigo had copied the album cover art of her band, Hole, for a promotional photo without proper credit. Taylor Swift and Katy Perry were famously feuding for several years, with some believing the conflict inspired Swift’s song “Bad Blood.” The disagreement, which began with issues over a shared backup dancer and competition during their tours, ended when Perry sent Swift an olive branch as a peace offering before Swift’s Reputation Tour began.

Taylor shared on Instagram that she found a real olive branch in her dressing room, saying it meant a lot to her.

As a longtime fan, I was so disappointed to hear about the tension between Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker. They always seemed so close on screen! Okay, let’s talk about the long, complicated history between Kanye and Taylor. It all really kicked off back in 2009 at the VMAs – you probably remember when Kanye interrupted Taylor’s acceptance speech, it was a huge moment. Surprisingly, they actually patched things up and even became friends for a while, which was lovely to see. But unfortunately, that friendship hit a major snag in 2016 with the release of Kanye’s song ‘Famous,’ which specifically mentioned Taylor, and things haven’t been the same since.

Just before the Grammy Awards in February 2025, Kanye West began following only Taylor Swift on Instagram. He didn’t offer any explanation for this action, and Taylor Swift hasn’t publicly acknowledged it.
