I’ve been so excited to see Marvel and manga worlds colliding lately! We’ve already seen awesome team-ups like Spider-Man with Ultraman, Deadpool and All Might, and even the Avengers facing the Titans. Even though the official Marvel/Shonen Jump partnership ended a while back, it hasn’t stopped the crossovers! Today, something huge happened in a new X-Men issue – one of Marvel’s most powerful mutants just jumped into a really popular, supernatural anime series, and I can’t wait for everyone to see it!
Okay, so the latest issue of Storm (#4) is absolutely wild! Ororo is battling what looks like her mom, but from another reality! It’s a bit confusing because this version of her mother, N’Dare, is wearing a full spacesuit, totally hiding who she is. They get into this huge fight, and it turns out her mom is trying to protect Storm from her own dangerous universe – which ends up sending Storm bouncing through a ton of alternate realities! And get this – one of those realities is seriously cool. She flies through this universe called ‘The Multiverse Cluster of Magic and Death,’ and it’s clearly showing the devastation from the Jujutsu Kaisen Shibuya Incident Arc, with Sukuna floating above all the destruction! We don’t actually see Storm fight Sukuna, but it officially makes the world of Jujutsu Kaisen part of the Marvel universe, which is just mind-blowing!

A Jujutsu Kaisen/Marvel Crossover
There hasn’t been an official collaboration between Jujutsu Kaisen and Marvel, but that hasn’t stopped Marvel from exploring anime-style adaptations. While anime series don’t typically feature Marvel’s heroes like the Avengers or X-Men, Marvel characters have been given the anime treatment. Back in the early 2000s, Studio Madhouse created anime versions of Iron Man, the X-Men, Wolverine, and Blade. However, with their recent work on shows like Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, Madhouse doesn’t seem likely to revisit those projects anytime soon.
For years, Marvel comics have quietly included nods to anime characters, featuring figures from popular series like Dragon Ball and One Piece. Interestingly, a full crossover is now in the works: Silent Mobius x Avengers is scheduled to be released in 2026. Created by Kia Asamiya, the author of Silent Mobius, this project shows the continued appeal of combining manga and Marvel universes. With anime becoming increasingly popular, we can expect to see even more of these kinds of collaborations in the future.
