Fans are excited for the return of Jujutsu Kaisen with its third season, which premieres in January. To build anticipation, a special, free preview is available now. The first part of the new season of Jujutsu Kaisen: Culling Game arrives in January, and it will feature many new characters. How to Watch Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3
The first part of Jujutsu Kaisen: Culling Game will premiere with two episodes back-to-back on January 8th in Japan. Fans in North and South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, India, and Southeast Asia can watch it on Crunchyroll. The release will include Japanese audio with English subtitles; details about an English dub are still to come. The returning team from previous seasons will also be working on this new installment.
Shota Goshozono is back directing the first part of Jujutsu Kaisen: The Culling Game, with Hiroshi Seko handling the writing. Yosuka Yajima and Hiromi Niwa are designing the characters, and Yoshimasa Terui is composing the music. Season 3 will feature new voice actors, including Kazuya Nakai as Kinji Hakari, Yuki Sakakihara as Kirara Hoshi, Tomokazu Sugita as Hiromi Higuruma, Satoshi Tsuruoka as Fumihiko Takaba, Yutaka Aoyama as Reggie Star, Neeko as Kogane, and Yoshiko Sakakibara as Tengen.
What’s Going on in the Culling Game?
The Culling Game is a particularly intense story arc in Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen manga. It marks the beginning of the story’s final act, as Kenjaku, after the events of the Shibuya Incident, is collecting Cursed Energy for a mysterious plan. He’s doing this by initiating a dangerous tournament involving both revived Cursed Spirits in human bodies and newly awakened sorcerers who are developing their powers due to the ongoing chaos.
Yuji’s battles are far from over, and he’s immediately facing new challenges. While things will continue to be chaotic, he’ll find help from some surprising new friends. Plus, we’re finally seeing the return of Yuta Okkotsu, the original protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen, who’s back in Japan following Satoru Gojo’s loss. You won’t want to miss what happens next!
